Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
What a strange turn of events if Mayock joins and the rumors that he sat out the Alabama pro day in anticipation of this are true. Crazy.

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
Mayock is the best analyst on NFL Network or espn.

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
What a joke of a franchise, from Cap Kirk to the debacle with Scott & now Mayock as GM? I mean we've been trough some rough patches as Skins fans but this has reached embarrassing levels. What is happening with this franchise ? We've become the laughing stock of the NFL in a matter of weeks. At this point i can't tell what's worse, Trump in the White House or Dan & Bruce running this team.

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
Why would Mayock be a bad choice? I'd say the main job of a GM is talent evaluation and he is great at that. We have guys for the contracts.

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
does anyone have a link to mayock's reviews from previous drafts?
i'd love to read his reviews not only on guys we drafted, but also who he ranked as the top guys at each position each draft. *edit* this may suffice Mike Mayock

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
If we go with Mike Mayock, fingers crossed his assemble Skins team would include Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah.
This would make my offseason

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan
I have a sense that Jay Gruden is going to make the bulk of the decisions on personnel, however, we definitely need a GM that focuses on talent evaluation.

I'd try to get Rich Eisen too, his forty time was pretty good.
