Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
When I was listening to Wilson speak before our game in interviews...it sounds like he's just a walking book of sports cliches. Aside from his "separation" line that he kept repeating, he was just spouting off football cliche after football cliche. I was waiting for him to throw Madden's "the team that scores more points will probably win the game".
He is obviously an intelligent guy, he reads defenses as well as anyone in the game, but when he talks, he's like a player version of Mike Shanahan or Bill Belichick. ![]() Overall, Griffin just seems better on any level than Wilson, Kaepernick and really, most QBs in the game. He's more athletic, more talented, a more accurate passer, a better runner, a leader late in games, classier, more entertaining to listen to and probably one of the hardest workers in terms of training. Hopefully this will also translate into more success.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Give RGIII SF's offensive line, perhaps the best in football, and he could do more, especially against a swiss cheese defense like the Packers put on the field that game.
I still maintain that RGIII is a more accurate passer and when he decides to take off, when healthy, he's a more dangerous runner too. Think about early in the season, 76 yards at half speed, high-stepping and looking back at the helpless defenders. He has a deep ball that could be the most accurate in the game. Colin K has a ton of talent, but he still looks a little raw at times. I've seen him make some bad throws. He does have more talent around him too. This is a team that went 13-3 with Alex Smith last year. They're both going to be tops in the league for years, but at this point, I still give the edge to Griffin going by individual (not team) accomplishments.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
Obviously all 3 are good QBs, good leaders, good runners.
They're all very close in arm talent to my eye: By arm I mean the combination of quickness of release, velocity, touch (deep ball) and accuracy. In terms of pure velocity I would put Kaepernick is 1st. In terms of pure accuracy I would put Wilson is 1st Griff is very close because he can make some perfect passes but his ball location is inconsistent (often 'wild high'). Quick release I would put Griffin 1st. Touch(deep ball) tie between Griff & Russ. Running ability: Griff is the most dynamic, he's a threat to score on any carry. Kaep isn't far behind though. Russell isn't as fast but he's more then useful enough to make the read-option plays work. Griffin is by far the most reckless. Kaep and Russ imo have far better running instincts and awareness about when, where and how to uneccesary hits. Progression reading in a rhythm passing offense 3-5-7 step drop passing: Russell Wilson is head and shoulders the best imo. Griff & Kaep operate schemes that far more run-action based and often result in simple half field/hi-lo reads. |

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
rg3 > than both.
capernick didnt even play the whole season lol... the team around him weather it be the line or the d or whatever is better than ours... they were an NFC championship team last year too... i dont see how he has improved them that much... besides, cap and wilson had our offense that we installed, put in for them.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob
leaving the D out then.... how much can we actually tell about a qb if we dont take into account the weapons they have and the o line they have?
