What does any of this exactly mean? They draft players to play a game, sometimes there are bad apples, but that happens everywhere.

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

I think i'm the only one who likes the current Regime. I can go without Haslett, as I enjoy a defensive cordinator who is aggressive and mean. Who likes to show it on the sideline with his team and encourage them to be beasts.. Haslett kinda seems like the most calm D coach iv'e ever seen. I never see any type of expression on his face. If I was him and the defense was missing so many tackles.. I would be throwing a headset and clipboard, and grabbing my players showing them how to tackle lol.

I enjoy Kyle, and really feel like the offense moved the ball really well today. We had a INT on a good drive, a Fumble, and another FUMBLE after we dropped a 50+ touchdown.

Just seems we left a lot of points on the field today and to blame Kyle or Mike for those errors when the game was called pretty well is really off point.

One thing I did enjoy was the man coverage we played today that I haven't seen all year. I remember one case where it was 3rd and 5 for Detriot. Kerrigan showed blitz after lining up over the slot, and when he blitz the safety came up to man the slot forcing Stafford to delay his throw and ended up under throwing him..

I wanna see more man coverage. I would rather be burned in man coverage then give up chunks of yardage in the zone. I know Seattle plays heavy man coverage and it works glorious for them because they have physical corners. I feel like Amerson is the first step to being one of those physical corners. He played pretty good today, and proved he was worth the pick.

Jordan Reed also looked fast and sure handed. Guy made forget all about Fred Davis, and made me realize that Paul could be on his way out next year once we start building some more cap.

Tough loss today. Can't help but think the Skins beat themselves. Too many turnovers/mistakes. Next week is officially must win territory.

The damn thing that is just really irking me is the offense. I know the defense sux but damn it, it wasn't great last year. The oline inconsistencies, some decisions from rg3, the game planning, the non use of players like fed Davis and helu and even Darryl young, etc. I really at a loss. Sometimes it seems like we are doing too much to get into any type of offensive flow. I'd really like to see alfmo with more than 15 carries in a close game

We are going to be okay fella's. What you need to realize is we really beat ourselves today. We know what we are right now, and without RG3 playing to his potential he did last year it makes reality set in. Salary Cap hurt us so we are stuck with guys like Robinson who are one trick ponies, but drop the winning touchdown.

We have a good foundation and I really believe that. We just need to play better and get back to playing as good as we did last year. We are obviously capable of it. It's not like it's a myth.

All is true but it wasn't a game winning TD, it would have given us the lead no guarantees we would have won if he caught it.

Gus give me a break. If what your saying was remotely true the game wouldn't be thriving as it is. Most of these players are professionals work their asses off day in and day out and represent their organizations in their communities across the nation as role models. Sure the media will hype the bad apples but overall these kids are playing the game they love, getting paid well and giving back to there respected community. Some young guys don't get it but how can u complain about the character of rg3 and alfmo

... stay away from arguing with an idiot. Because at any distance, it just looks like 2 idiots arguing. Just random advice directed at nothing in particular.

... Or just pop a cap in his ass and take all his bling. And yell out - I'm rich, bitch!!!

Re: Redskins Lions postgame

The way you people have been talking, you would think we went 0-16 at end of the season. Yes it sucks that we lost the game today, but I think we should be feeling better about the team after today though. Offense is finally moving the ball, compared to last 2 games. Griffin's two turnovers can be fixed, the fumble is just a freak accident and the interception is stupid one, he should have thrown it away instead. Robinson's drop is unfortunate one, he should have held on the ball better, simple as that.

One thing I'm really worried about is our defense. Our defense is absolutely terrible, along with missed tackles issue. I don't believe firing Haslett will make our defense better than it is right now. Haslett got creative with depleted defense last year at second half of the season, I expect him to come up with something soon eventually. We went 3-6 at first half of the season last year, and then went on to win 8 games straight. There is a chance for us to do similar thing, even though we will face tough opponents after our bye week.

Agreed, but we are 0-3, 0-3 in conference, 0-2 at home. We can't keep saying "we're close, next week we'll get it"
