If the Rams get the #1 pick in the draft, I will drive to DC myself in a Uhaul and throw Mike and Kyle out of DC myself. Danny won't have to do it.

I could see us beating the Falcons.

So this means that you were against the RG3 trade?

MY personal thoughts on this trade. First off, I want to state that I love RGIII as a prospect and wanted him here as our QB.

That said, I think they gave up entirely too much to get him and no doubt Shanahan has put his career at stake with this move. I personally think we weren't at the stage in our rebuild to make a move like this, but we'll see how this plays out over the course of the next 3 years.

My other concern with this move is the expectations and pressure that is going to be heaved on RGIII. Fans are celebrating this as if we've landed a franchise QB, but the reality of it is we haven't. We've landed a very good prospect who hasn't played a single snap of NFL football yet. We can hardly call any rookie a franchise QB until this all plays out.
Thought that then, and still think it now. It shows with our talent level.

I would still do this trade 100 out of 100 times regardless of what pick the Rams end up with. This is a QB league and I still believe Griffin will be a franchise QB and the Rams have spent all but one of our picks and still don't have a franchise QB. Maybe our pick this year will turn into one for them but I would rather have Griffin then any QB in this draft. Those 4 picks or Griffins play are not the reason the Redskins are losing.

The draft pick deal is frustrating but people need to let it go. It's over and done and we're not getting the picks back. Just hope RG3 can bring us a SB win or two over the course of his career.

Well what if we suck again next year? In 2015 we could have a chance to draft Jameis Winston!!!!!!! .. w/out giving up any picks! That kid makes more ridiculous throws than any college QB I've ever seen. Let's suck for Famous Jameis in 2015!

This may be the most excited response you have ever given.

Might as well get Britt, Pacman Jones, Incognito and bring back Donte Stallworth. The politicians can get what they want because we'll then be called the Washington Cowboys with all of these thugs and criminals on our roster.

Next coach can be this guy:

Re: Skins Giants postgame

I'm sure the plan was to offset the picks with the $36M in cap room.

I know the cap room alone isn't to blame for this mess, but it's certainly part of it.
