Byron Maxwell: 'You're a human being, you get tired' | Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia

Cameras catch Maxwell laughing after an ass kicking.

I love that Eagles signed this guy...

Really good seeing the Eagles at 0-2. I want Chip Kelly and the Eagles to implode like an inferno. He comes off as if he's the smartest person in the room. The Sam Bradford signing is blowing up in his face. He was just pitiful yesterday.

You dont know what you're talking about. It doesnt matter who the Eagles sign. Their coach is Chip freaking Kelly, and he is a God.

Yeah I cant believe I came on here last week talking about how good Bradford was going to be in Philly. I keep wanting to post about it in the "i was wrong when" thread, but I believe that is meant to be about the Redskins - and it is not like there isn't enough material to keep that thread alive for 20 years. I will say that I was hoping the Birds would win a really ugly game just so we could be tied for first place for a quick minute.

I remember when the 'ol ball coach Steve Spurrier came in and decided that NFL coaches and FO's had no idea what they were doing and proceeded to change the roster over to speed over ability. Chip Kelly and Steve Spurrier run similar systems. In college where there is a differential between players, it looks awesome. In the pro's where you have DL running 4.6's, it doesn't work. Spurrier destroyed the roster and Kelly has destroyed the Eagles. Not that I'm complaining but seriously, you'd think these guys would realize that college football is not the same as pro football. NE runs a similar offense as well but BB runs a Pro version of it that doesn't rely purely on speed.

In Chip we trust... With any luck the Cowboys will steal him away so he can destroy that team too..

The Eagles are basically doing what the Redskins did during the Cerrato era, yet no one in the media is willing to call out Chip Kelly on that. He went on a FA shopping spree and bought a whole bunch of shiny parts and doesn't know how to make them work.

I dont know. I think he is giving away a whole bunch shiny parts more than he us buying and trying to prove his system is the shiniest part.
Edit: also you should turn the tv on, plenty of media calling out chip kelly.

Eagles did the samething with the "Dream Team", 5 or 6 years ago

Now that was in the spirit of VC, but this is totally different. This is Chip telling the world he can plug anybody into his system and win.

Dolphins’ loss to lowly Jaguars early sign of trouble | Miami Herald

Going off script

A big reason why: Suh, who for the second straight week was a nonfactor, strayed from Kevin Coyle’s script.

The Miami Herald has learned that Suh freelanced at times Sunday, creating confusion on the defense. By taking matters into his own hands, the Dolphins’ $114 million man took a bad situation and made it worse.

“I couldn’t tell you,” Suh said, when asked to explain his uninspired play. “At the end of the day, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we want to run so guys can make plays and go from there.”

Hey, I think we've seen this first hand with over priced d tackles.

People are calling him out now, but during the offseason when he went on his shopping spree, a lot of people weren't saying anything. I find it amazing that a team in our division doesn't realize that rampant free agent spending doesn't work after what our team has gone through.

I just glanced at the Philly Inquirer sports page, people are going insane over this debacle.
