Re: Around the League Week 4

Now we see why KC let Smith hit the road. Mahomes is just on another level. I hope one day we can get a QB like that.

He looks like the real deal but lets wait and see him do this for 3 years in a row then I will say he's elite. We have seen way too many one hit wonders but yes he has all the tools. I hope we can as well

Just saw that play, pretty sure as long as you have one part of your body behind the LoS it's a legal forward pass. Which he had: his foot is clearly behind the line.

Re: Around the League Week 4

Mahomes reminds me of the way both Russell Wilson and Dak Prescott burst onto the scene. You can hold Wilson up as the example for why Mahomes will succeed, and you can hold Prescott up as the example for why we should wait and see.

Though with Andy Reid and those offensive weapons in KC, it's hard to envision him not having continued success. What a great first four weeks.

I agree although Mahomes is throwing the ball into windows that Dak has never been able to. His release and ball placement look great and that's what he'll need as he progresses into an NFL QB.

But yeah, He definitely has that "spark" we saw from Dak and Russ.

Re: Around the League Week 4

RW is a top 12 QB and probably will be from now on, he will never be a Aaron Rodgers or brees but he's still damn good. Dak just isn't accurate enough to be a top QB. He is a better version of Jason Campbell but that's about it. I would not be surprised if he ends up being a journeyman like JC.

Dak can't hold JC's jock strap. At least JC had 300 yard games. Dak struggles to get 200 yards. He is a backup at best.

Mahomes looks awesome but hot damn the MNF booth was out of control the other night slurping all over him

Let’s slow the roll on him just a bit

Now that theirs tape on Mahomes, the better D-Cor in the league will find ways to slow down the KC offense. Just the nature of the league. Still, guy is playing well.
