I can't wait for Punch, G1 and SD pop on and read Chico defend himself as being labelled a MSM lemming.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
You know SD, if you ever get tired of being a MSM shill and want to put in some research, you'd actually discover the real truth. Big gov't just wants to inject you with something that will wipe out your immune system and kill you when the next big disease rolls around (this is a literal, actual factual sentence my aunt told me 2 months ago).

Immediate reaction ![]() Naw but I just hope everyone makes the right decision for covid for themselves…I think the best way to get the worried folks to the shot is to provide the facts in a clear manor…get that full FDA vac approval completed. Scare tactics, bad headlines, finger wagging I don’t think is the right way and will only harden people there stances in a deeply polarized environment. I think that WaPost article…the NYT article and headline today, doesn’t help the cause.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Sorry if this has been asked before but do the players lose their paycheck for any games missed due to COVID?
I know a forfeited game results in loss of game day check for the teams involved. Is that still the case for individuals if the rest of the team plays?

Like, we Washington fans know how hard it is to keep a team healthy and available, so missed games due to covid rules on top of that would be a real bummer IMO.

But I can still have an opinion on the matter. And if we lose starters during the regular season, my opinion will be that it's one of the lamest reason to lose starters. The thing is my stand on the vaccine isn't very strong, I'm not all out "everybody should get vaccinated no questions asked", I have close family members who don't want to get vaccinated and I don't even discuss it with them, cuz I didn't look into it that much and have neither a strong opinion nor a lot of arguments. All I know is with the NFL rules, which are not perfect, a lot of players not being vaccinated could lead to lost games. Not saying anybody should be forced to have the shot. But I'm gonna be disappointed if my team loses games that way, and if we're being honest we all will, won't we ? Nobody is gonna be glad if Chase, Scherff and Terry are out on Covid list during the season... Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
If, as the CDC is starting to say, vaccinated people with the delta variant can carry the same viral load as unvaccinated, shouldn't all players at least be tested daily?

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread
Never thought I'd see the day when Americans would value winning NFL football games over personal freedoms. I don't know if this is the twilight zone, but it is a bit scary nonetheless.
