Lmao lazy national media narrative with no substance.

Ryan is old and his arm is weak as fuck now. Good luck

Jim Irsay would say differently lol. He has gone above and beyond saying Wentz was the issue. It'll be interesting to see who has the better year. Ryan is definitely older now with a ton of starts in the NFL.

As crazy as Irsay is I would still take him over Dan.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition

I had stopped watching Hard Knocks the last few years, it was always more of the same and I got bored of it.
But, just watched the first 2 episodes of this season, with the Detroit Lions, I gonna say the combination of Dan Campbell, some of his coaches and players, and a franchise in long awaited rebuild mode, makes it highly entertaining !
Have you guys given it a look ?

It’s been good, I’ll be rooting for the Lions. Still have my doubts on Campbell, but he sure would be a great high school coach, that’s the vibe he gives me.

Yeah my immediate first reaction to the opening segment and its plethora of metaphors was "he's doing too much", but after 2 episodes it feels like he's authentic about it and it connects with players and coaches.
We'll see if he also has the tools to manage a roster, scheme and play call in the NFL, but with what Vrabel has been able to do in Tennessee, I do think this tough and loud former player type of coaching can be efficient in this league.

Some of the coaches on the Lions like Staley and Glenn, they are so competitive that I almost feel like they need to tone it down. They're not playing anymore but still act like they are.. lol. But none the less very entertaining stuff.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition

It was pretty hard to judge Ryan last year cause he was playing for a terrible team w/ no wr's. I still think he is a good QB but he is a statue. He needs a line, a running game and couple of wr's. He has those now. When ATL was really running the ball when Kyle was there Ryan played very well.

I think he can still play well but if things break down around him like last year then he isn't going to carry the team.

Colts to me are a fringe playoff team to early exit playoff team. The AFC is just too loaded for them to make a deep run w/ Ryan or if they had kept Wentz.

I always watch Hard Knocks, Huge fan of it and honestly I'm a sucker for football content. Dan Campbell seems like a great coach to play for but he does say the same shit over and over "Come on man, we need to fucking clean it up man" LOL

I don't see them going that far with Goff who is a top 25 QB but will never be elite.

Damn. Inside the NFL back in the day was my absolute favorite thing to watch, and back then when we won all the time I can remember being so excited to see the game recap for the Skins. Loved the pick segment too. RIP.

Just a great shot. Just kinda reminds me these athletes were more of your normal guys back then…a lot of them had regular jobs in the offseason

Inside the NFL back in the day was a must watch every week. Now I can't even remember the last time I tuned in.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition

Indianapolis Colts punter Rigoberto Sanchez will likely miss the entire season after he sustained an Achilles injury during practice Tuesday, a team spokesperson said via the Indianapolis Star.

Sanchez went down during the final moments of practice Tuesday when the entire team was running sprints, something, as the punter, he wouldn’t normally participate in.

[Set, hut, hike! Create or join a fantasy football league now!]

Sanchez will undergo further testing Wednesday to determine the severity of his injury. According to ESPN’s Stephen Holder, his Achilles is believed to have ruptured which will end his season.

Sanchez was gearing up for his sixth season with the Colts this fall. He has been the team’s punter and kickoff specialist since the Colts signed him after he went undrafted in 2017, and the 27-year-old signed a four-year, $11.6 million extension in 2019. He averaged 44.5 yards per punt last season, and was ranked ninth in the league in punts taken inside the 20-yard line last season.

The Colts do not have a backup punter on their roster, so they will have to pick up someone before Week 1. The team has kickers Rodrigo Blankenship and Jake Verity available for kickoffs. Sanchez also served as the team’s holder on field goals.
