Re: Josh Harris = New Owner!?
Honestly it is difficult to see them not being a better team this year, with Bienemy replacing Turner and a QB who is way better than what we had, Brian Robinson fully recovered and the feel good honeymoon period of new ownership. It would take a monumental effort for Ron to screw it up and be no better than last year, at which point he would deserve to be fired. How much of an improvement the new owner would need to retain Ron remains to be seen.

We however should be a team that's equipped to do it given how disruptive we can be up front. But 2021 was a dropoff from 2020. Hope 2023 isn't a dropoff from 2022.

We should expect some growing pains with him, and I don't know that it's fair to just declare him after seeing him play in one regular season game. The other bugaboo is the schedule...10 of 17 games against playoff teams from last year... plus improved Jets, Broncos, and Bears teams... Won't be easy. All that said, if RR doesn't figure out a way to win at least 9 games and make the playoffs (not sneak in with a 8-9 record), he should be done. |

Your right it was a bit of an exageration to say he will be way better, but our QBs were awful last year so it should not be too much to expect something much closer to competent starter level. |

I don't think RR had much of a choice. He has to go with who is on the roster, but honestly it's not out of the question that Brissett could start the season as QB1.

Re: Josh Harris = New Owner!?
I don’t think SH has much to do with RR’s future. After Harris revamps the FO and has a real GM running the show, RR is history and the equation shifts to EB + SH = ? It’s all upside for EB until we see how he’s doing with his QB1 (SH or otherwise) into the ‘24 season.
This will be the first time in 25 years that we actually have a shot at developing a QB within a well-run system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Josh Harris = New Owner!?
If sale goes through, Josh Harris will own the minimum 30 percent of Commanders
The process of Daniel Snyder selling the Washington Commanders is going to take some time, likely because the situation involves Daniel Snyder. If/when the team is sold to Josh Harris, the ownership breakdown has surfaced. Via Mike Ozanian of Forbes.com (who reported in December that Snyder had multiple offers “well north” of $7 billion, so there’s that), Harris would own 30 percent, the minimum required by league rules. The group of Harris and 17 limited partners also uses the maximum allowable debt under league rules, a whopping $1.1 billion. Of the limited partners, billionaire Mitchell Rales will hold 12 percent. Magic Johnson would hold four percent. At a sale price of $6 billion, Magic will be putting up $240 million. By way of comparison, Jerry Jones paid $150 million for all of the Cowboys in 1989. |

Re: Josh Harris = New Owner!?
This whole sale is gonna crash … I’ll be shocked if Snyder even sells the team within years .. now you got others involved with bids and somewhat big question marks about financials … I could very well see this sale being a total crap show of lawyers/lawsuits and Snyder sitting back giving everyone the finger … I don’t trust any of this to ge well ..
