I think McNabb is done here.he will be traded or released.Grossman and Beck will be here in the off season.the first round pick in the 2011 draft should be a QB like Ryan Mallett,Jake Locker or Nick Foles.all these guys are big and have rocket arms.if the rookie is ready,he should start.

Best way I can describe Kellen Moore as a pro prospect is a way the anti-Tebow draft crowd tried to paint Tim Tebow as not being a pro-quarterback. That group was underselling Tebow as a pro player, but that's actually who Kellen Moore is: he doesn't really look the part, doesn't really play in a pro offense, doesn't have the arm for the position, etc. But he completed a ton of college passes for an elite program and won a bunch of games at that level.

Moore is not going to be drafted in the first round like Tebow was, obviously, but he does a couple of things very, very well. At some point late in the draft, he'll be worth a look

I agree with your assesment GT, but the thing about Moore not having the arm is dead wrong. Whenever I have seen him on TV that kid can throw one helluva bomb like 60yds in the air mulitple times. The big beef with moore is the same thing with Colt. He didn't play anybody half decent and when he did(TCU) he got his ass handed to him. If TCU destroys Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl I won't knock on BSU so bad, but right now it is Colt and Hawaii all over again. That being said I would still pick Moore over Newton. That kid has jackass written all over his face.

What I'll say about the TCU game is that by the time Kellen Moore is in the draft, that game will be two years in the rear view mirror. They'll still be grading him on tape from this past year. That game, not such much.

I'll defer to you on the strength of his arm.

Not sure if Schaub will have same success in here with our O-line and not so good WR corp.. We don't have Andre Johnson, whom is Schaub's best friend.

If we are considering Schaub, I think we should consider Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady.

Hell, I'd even say look into Montana, Marino, Elway or Young if you are going that direction :cheeky-sm

You are right. The only QB that will work is Elway, so let's get him some Sketchers and HGH, and he should be ready for camp.

I say we give Houston our 1st, 2nd and next years 1st for Schaub, Johnson and Mario Williams. I am sure they would do that. Right? Right????

Houston would be seriously stupid if they gave up Matt Schaub.

On a side note, I could see Aaron Rodgers getting fed up with Green Bay if they keep bringing him back into the starting lineup quickly after concussions. If so, bring HIM to Washington!

It is the most important position on the field so we need to get it right THIS time after missing 4 times (Ramsey, Brunell, Campbell, McNabb) since 2000. Pathetic really that we have missed that many times but history is history.

Unless Rex completely craps the bed these next 2 games, I can't see a scenario where he isn't the opening day starter next season with a 1st round pick QB behind him. I don't watch much CFB but from what I've seen I am not really sold on Locker or Ponder, as I said earlier in this thread they both seem Shuler-ish to me.. The Boise kid is intriguing but seems too small, slow, weak armed for the NFL-but I could be wrong... Other than being 6'7 I don't know anything about Mallet and I get the feeling that Newton is Vince Young without the emotional problems but with a used car dealer smile.

I guess that's a long way of saying I have no clue who will be a good fit for us but I'm sure one of them will be holding up a jersey next to Mike and Kyle in April.

I don't see a 1st round qb being drafted. Depending on the last two games, I think Rex is the starter and Beck the project.
