McNabb looks old. Just stature-wise. He seems old to me.

Nothing's ever really been wrong with his throwing motion. It's always been his footwork that's really the problem; throwing off balance, throwing off his back foot, taking too big a step during his "wind up".

As for the video, he just doesn't look...I don't know if explosive is the right word, but I'm going to use it anyway. Like GTripp said, he just looks old. And I know they're working out in t-shirts and shorts and only going half speed, but I kinda noticed the same thing last season where he wasn't really coming out from under center with some oomph.

But I don't really know what I'm talking about, probably, so ignore me.

Re: Where will McNabb land?

For the record, I think this game was the best game McNabb played last season (well, until the two dumbass decisions at the end). I'm disqualifying the Texans game because the Texans secondary was the only one that looked worse than ours last year.

It was also the best game Kyle called all season. Go figure that when the quarterback and the OC are in sync, good things happen. Well, except for the not winning part.

I thought Houston was one of the better called games by Kyle and the better games played by McNabb.

The Packers game stands out to me because our OL couldn't block anybody and McNabb was able to survive and produce.

Well like I said, the Texans game...it's kind of an abberation. Their secondary was pretty awful, and well...he practice against that defense every week for 2-3 years. So I thought the game was an amazing offensive showcase, but considering those factors, I couldn't give it that kind of appreciation.

I was pretty impressed with his performance in the Packers game as well, but he just moves too slowly now.

Re: Where will McNabb land?

They're not going to trade him. They realize they're not going to get value for him after last season, and they put the out clause in his contract in there specifically because of that. McNabb will get cut with no compensation unless McNabb wants to restructure his contract, which he won't want to.

He may just stay in D.C who knows

I think the only thing that's for sure is DM won't be back. How he moves on is the only question.

Re: Where will McNabb land?

Like I said, his best chance for some sort of success is to stay in Washington. But him and Kyle are going to need to come together somehow, and I think that relationship is pretty much obliterated. He feels like Kyle wants him to be a robot, and if that's the way he feels, there's not going to be a lot we can do.

So unless he restructures his contract and changes his attitude, we're probably just going to cut him.

The best chance for both parties to continue to have success is for McNabb to stay here. I just don't think Kyle or Donovan can have some sort of "meet-me-half-way" miracle moment to salvage things.

Could it be that Kyle and Mike Shanahan have made an attempt to reconcile their differences with McNabb? In a recent interview Kelly Johnson of Comcast Sports conducted with Bruce Allen, Johnson asked Allen about the probability of McNabb returning to the team. Allen responded by saying it would all depend on how McNabb looked after practices commence. That would lead one to believe that McNabb is at least going to have the opportunity to demonstrate through practice that whatever differences he had with Kyle this past season can be overcome should he demonstrate a better work ethic and improve his conditioning.

Allen could just be blowing smoke, but for now I'm going to take him at his words.
