Funny you disappear for months then show back up the day after we get knocked out of the playoffs. Why didn't you come back last Monday?

Listening to the John Feinstein show this morning , he mentioned the
Team Dr. Over rules the HC on whether an injured should be allowed on the field. If that's the case my apologies to Shanahan. If RGIII suffered and MCL tear, i would still be very concerned since it's the same he tore up before and he's only 22 YO.

You haven't been here since before Turkey Day and now chime in with this $0.02 worth of malarkey?

Spare me.

LOL. I love how you come in here and make a good point, and everyone ignores it in favor of attacking you for showing up the day after your opponent's playoff loss. Just bad timing for you man.

S/N I agree with your points.

Seeing RG3 play through injury like that just reminds me of when Phillip Rivers played with a torn ACL in the 2008 AFC Championship game, and he and the coach were lauded as "gutsy", playing through injury.

All players play "hurt". It's another thing entirely to play "injured".

And FYI, I am here every day. I don't post as much as I used to, but I still come here and read a lot.

'Nuff blame to go around. It wasn't our best game, and it was one that in hindsight if things were handled differently, yeah we probably could have pulled it off. I don't believe that Shanny would intentionally risk the future of the club or Robert by keeping him out there though. The thought process was probably as such that he believed Robert gave the team the best chance to win. Maybe Cousins comes in and leads the team to victory...maybe he comes in and throws two INTs and loses the game...who knows. I do wish they hadn't abandoned the running game though, or maybe it was just me...but it seemed like Morris didn't get many touches after the first quarter. It felt at times that Kyle was outsmarting himself out there.

Can't wait until next year

I blame Montgomery for the horrible snaps! Seriously though, what was up with him? Kerrigan looked confused and slow all game, but maybe bad ankle? No pass rush from front four in critical 3rd downs. Bs interference call on hall. Fumble into a 20 yard gain? Come on. Abandoned the run. Too many blunders. Just hope rg is ok. Even if it is acl, look at Petersen.

Yeah. Its a head scratcher for sure. The offense before and after that play where Griff aggravated it was night and day. Like he says maybe KC doesnt win but if he had led us to even a fg over the final three quarters it was more than what we got.
No choice but to chalk it up as a bad day at the office. The important thing now is # 10 gets ultra healthy and we sure up some holes and get out injured players back. If we go into next season with all healthy and a couple of upgrades than nobody is beating us.

Good season. Robert is going to get healthy for next season and that is all that matters. What's done is done and people can bitch about the decisions made on the field today all they want, but this was one hell of a run.

Redskins gonna get better.

Pull him or don't pull him; once the decision had to be made the game was lost anyway. Seattle is a better team to start with; there's no way we're beating them without a healthy RGIII.

Everyone can keep blowing smoke all they want. I didn't see a team that was better then the Skins. 14-13 with 8 minutes left & a qb that completed 5 passes in the 2nd half.

Yes we lost but after the 1st quarter Griffin wasn't even close to what he was against Dallas and we all know he wasn't much in that game.

I came away far more impressed with our team than the hype of Seattle.

Are you kidding me? At one point late in the game we had 143 yards of offense. They fumbled on the one yard line. Wilson missed a couple of routine TD passes. We were outplayed by a better team. Even with RG3 healthy is there any way to say we win the game? Does he play defense too? Is anyone around here capable of just giving Seattle credit? They're a damn good football team.

I agree. There were two plays on the same drive where Wilson missed wide open receivers and they had to settle for field goals. They fumbled the ball on the one yard line with a running back who usually can get you 6 down there. We allowed them to convert key third downs and committed penalties at the worst times. Redskins allowed 224 yards on the ground at 6.1 YPC. How many games do you think you will win with that kind of defense? Only way the Skins win and definitively the only way the Skins would win in ATL is with a healthy RG3. Great season. Skins lost to a better team.
