Now I wait for someone to make a joke about Tebow using his rib to make a wife

He tried that once and he didn't like her so he took his rib back. It got his hands a little dirty but he was pleased with the annulment.

To all the others laughing at the coygirls wounds... let's wait till we are through with 3 more meaningless games of our own before we laugh at another's misfortune.

The week before week one we can make jokes and like our chances because of the Injury Report on the Cowboys.

**BTW I think we whould win against the Boys in week one at FedEx with the 'Girls at full strength given we are the same.**
All that matters is the regular season. Columbo is supposed to return to practice in 10-12 days. But for certain and undoubtedly he will be ready by week 1.

I am more concerned by the loss of Kosier, it is pretty certain he won't be playing in the opener. In 2008 the offense really suffered when Kosier was out for the year. Most underated linemen on that roster IMO.

I wasn't laughing. I was being matter-of-fact. Their offensive line is mostly old and lacking in depth. I predict that injuries on the offensive front derail their Super Bowl dreams. In this light, what is happening to Colombo and Kosier is just the beginning.

Kelly's last chance

Malcolm Kelly | Redskins

The Washington Redskins have been less than impressed with their pair of 2009 second-round wide receivers, Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly, based on their production so far. During training camp, however, Thomas has flashed enough improvement to seemingly secure his spot on the roster for 2010.

Kelly, however, has been battling injuries all camp, and Jason Reid of the Washington Post writes that he'll need to get on the field and impress coach Mike Shanahan in order to make the team's 53-man roster. Redskins' receivers coach Keenan McCardell said the following about Kelly's roster chances: "He's more than talented enough to be one of the 53," McCardell said. "He wouldn't have been a second-round pick if he didn't have that type of talent. You don't pass that type of talent in the draft. I just hope he comes back healthy soon and ready to go."

The Redskins could certainly use a healthy, productive Kelly to bolster their receiving corps, but the second-year pro might be running out of time to earn Shanahan's approval. The fact that electrifying rookie Brandon Banks is doing well as a kick returner this preseason could be hurting Kelly's roster chances.

Unless Romo gets splattered during a preseason game because of no pass protection.

Just heard that Percy Harvin collapsed on the field at Vikings practice and was taken away in an ambulance. Man I hope he's ok.

Percy Harvin collapsed during Thursday's practice and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

Coach Brad Childress said that Harvin had an "episode" and not really a "seizure." It was apparently triggered when Harvin looked at the sky on a punt return and is almost certainly related to his migraine woes. Harvin was trembling and partially responsive as medical personnel got him off the field.

Think we posted at the same time in different threads.

Harvin has had a really tough summer, feel for the guy...now I need to tell my colleagues to figure out a way to work Favre into the story

Yeah Percy is my guy. I remember vividly how happy I was the day he committed to Florida. Those damn migraines have plagued him for years. Plus he lost his grandma who apparently played a big role in raising him. My thoughts and prayers go out to him. When he's 100% he's a treat to watch.

We posted the same time in the same thread.

Your post wasn't there before.

Harvin is a force on the field...special teams too. Big loss if they lose him, he was probably going to be the main guy this season. Favre loved Sidney Rice, but he's having health issues too.

It looks like we are down to 10 WR's now.

He was going to be out for the year regardless of his health.

Man, as if the Bills didn't have enough problems, one of their best defensive player goes down. We may very well have another 0-16 team.

Groin surgery for the third time this year? That sounds pretty unpleasant.

Sounds like he has some serious neurologic issues. And it says he's been to "expert after expert". As electrifying as he is on the field, this may cripple his career and I'm sorry to see that. Hope he gets better.
