Re: Around the NFL Week 5

That game was entertaining, but the real payoff was the look on Jerry Jones' face when Romo threw that INT.

Side note 3rd out of 5 weeks NFC east fails to win a game outside of division.

I thought that was a bad decision, you don't sign a guy that couldn't run a scheme that stops the read option at USC as your d coordinator.

To your previous post, Denver has their 2 best players on defense out right now. Von Miller and Champ Bailey. Pressure and coverage. That defense will be a lot better in 2 weeks. And right now Denvers offense is their best defense. The Denver D just needs to make one stop when its absolutely necessary, and they do that.

I believe Andrew Luck and the Colts might have something to say, they've beating the 49ers and Seahawks who were pre- season favorites to win the SB.

Their offense is good--not Denver good. And their defense is good, but not great.

Other than last week in Houston too where they got bailed out? Or how about week one in Carolina where they nearly lost to a 1-3 Panthers who have only beat the 0-5 Giants.

Their only Super Bowl performance has been against the Niners. I don't think 1 dominant game calls for any type of handing over of the Superbowl trophy.

Denver is still the SB favorite.

How in the world did Cincy hold the Pats to 6?

Seattle should actually be 2-3 because Carolina fumble d at the 5 with one minute left and schuab just handed them a W last week. But still a lot of football left and don't count out GB as a serious contender also

Bottom line, they win when they have too.

Because New England isn't that great and Cincys front 4 is the best in the league. They constantly get pressure on the QB with 4. Oh and the best pass rusher on the bengals and their best CB (Michael Johnson and Leon Hall).

Yeah but I'm not putting them in New York/Jersey come February.

With that logic, change a couple plays at the end, you could say the cowboys should be 4-1.
