If Hank could ever stay healthy he could be one, but that's asking alot.
Gotta go RT in the 2nd or 3rd round. We need someone who can bookend the line with TR. A strong line is the best way to mask deficiencies with the skill positions. I think that's what we did in FA for the DL, now let's strengthen the OL in the draft. Besides, Compton, Gettis, and Doughboy aren't going to be starters.

Eh...I suppose if you thought he was a surefire NFL stud, you would take him at #34. But if not, the better move would be to trade back to around the middle of the 2nd, get another draft pick, and then take Matthews if he's still available. But taking him at #34 with lots of better players available is a reach, something we can't really afford to do with so many holes.

I'd rather stay at #34 and take BPA.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition

Getting Roberts and D Jax greatly improves or severe lack of talent at WR.

This move puts us in position to get a very good player at 34 and not a WR which imo would be a mistake. Their could be several Safeties, couple Tackles, couple ILBs and maybe a Corner at that spot when we pick.

My preference would be to trade back a couple spots for teams wanting a QB and selecting Morgan Moses for Right Tackle.

^Taylor Lewan is a good player, but Im not interested in moving up unless we would take a FS, Clinton-Dix or Pryor.

Calvin Pryor would be awesome, but Clinton-Dix is overrated. In my opinion, the best safeties in this year's draft class are Deone Bucannon and Jimmie Ward, but they're Strong Safeties.

Top 5 - Redskins Team Needs - Vol. 3 - Post Free Agency

Watched the youtube highlights of the WR's & TE like them but Dri Archer stands out the most, listed as RB/WR/KR.

I agree with the articles order of need, would have been a nice touch to add in projected rounds for the players listed but good to see some names we could be looking at.

Todd McShay just elevated Moses to his No. 14 prospect overall.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition

I love draft speculation just as much as the next guy, but I gotta admit I'm getting tired of "we just need to trade back and add picks". Besides getting a lesser talent, just about every GM interviewed says that "trading back" is extremely difficult in the first couple rounds and not possible most of the time in those rounds. So can we just stop acting like it's an easily executionable option? Just sayin....

I hear what you are saying but BA has executed a first or second round trade in at least 2 of the last 4 drafts. So its easy to speculate he might do it again.

New England trades down all the time..... as far as getting lesser talent, it looks like the difference between #34 and #50 could be negligible, however if a great player slips to #34 take him
