Really no class on a major stage
And a bunch of cheaters on the other sideline, who also were throwing punches in the final seconds. Not sure class was a big theme from either side really.

True but he did lead the biggest second half comeback in Super Bowl history. 4 td against the defense, not easy to do. New England had zero running game

On that note - great effing game. Wow. After last years horrid game this was really nice to watch. I thought the commercials sucked, and KP's wardrobe was waaaay to conservative! And yeah Chico - all those things u mentioned - total crap. I am so happy they lost.

Super Bowl XLIX -- Seattle Seahawks' Bruce Irvin apologizes for end-of-game fight, ejection - ESPN

Irvin apologizes .... by saying he was just protecting a brother and he would do it again. congratulations on being the 1st dude ejected from a SB.

I always think it is bush league to get physical on a kneel down. Like Gronk said - its football, emotions run high ....

but the seahawks are odd. they cant win with class, they cant lose without getting cheap.

edit -- this guy below is pretty funny. seahawks = evil taint!

Matt R****** · Top Commenter · Arizona State University

Another classless Seattle Seahawk thug apologizing for getting caught. I sure hope this undignified lot keeps their losing streak going big time next season. Congratulations Seahawks on turning virtually the entire NFL fan base against you. Because you do not know how act with class. The Seahawks are the obnoxious, vulgar, evil that taints the entire landscape. If the classless Seahawks never win again it will be too soon for me! Running your mouth, with trash-talking arrogance is no way to impress anyone. This is who the Seahawks and this bum are. Just like Richard Sherman and Baldwin. The same clods that need to exit forever. Get injured and lose big.. the more the merrier. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I wish nothing but the worst for this crude, band of miscreants that are the Seahawks.

I'm really surprised they didn't run more of the read option last night anyways.

He was the MVP and he deserved it 110%!

I don't even know how to respond to this stupid comment because I didn't ever say

1) Tom had a bad game

2) Tom didn't have anything to do with the win.

I said that win came down to the defense and it did. Tom was on the sideline when the game was won as Matty already pointed out. What I did say is Wilson had a better game. Both of those QBs played well enough to win. Can you please for fucks sake stop saying I said this and that when I haven't.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread

i personally wouldnt even try a run/pass option. the D could fan out taking away the run option leaving russell to have to force a pass. unless i really really trusted my QB to get outside the tackle and throw it away if a guy is not wide open. thats a lot of trust when you could just run it.

just run it 3 times with a min left. dont even risk a handoff. do 3 QB sneaks.

throwing on the 1 yard line is what I do to pad RG3 stats in madden. actually i dont even throw it, i QB sneak it from the 1.

im convinced it was done to make Wilson the star and make him more profitable for the team to offset his huge new deal.

Bevell played madden with the SB on the line. wtf is that?

Again trying to make it about himself. Did he even notice that the ref picked off Revis? Great player and all, but his ego is ridiculous.

And the brawl was all on Seattle. They threw the punches and the refs called it correctly. Classless.

Who gives a crap where he was when the game clock expired? He was on the field when it was "won". He engineered the drive that won it.
Can you please stop saying that me, Calia, Donofriose or any of the other "idiots" are saying Brady did this alone? None of us did. You are the one putting words in peoples mouths. Not me. You did say the game was "giftwrapped" for him. Thats nonsense.

We differ on our opinions apparently of how much Brady had to do with the win. We differ on who outplayed who - him or Wilson? Thats fine. No need to get bent or call people idiots as others have already stated.
Edit: i never said that you stated tom had a bad game. I never said you stated that he didnt have ANYTHING to do with it. I said you stated he had little to do with it. Big difference. Since you jumped into the convo last night u have been hellbent on proving Brady did not shine, that the defense won the game for him, that it was giftwrapped for him. I disagree. That is all. I aplogize for disagreeing, but imo Brady was the straw that stirred the drink last night - not sure how you can see it differently but i certainly wont call you an idiot for it.

Wilson barely made 50% of his passes.
He thew a game killing pick.
Brady sliced and diced the Seattle defense in the 4th quarter and got MVP.
Brady ownzed Wilson.

I think Wilson still had a good game. It just wasn't good enough.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread

I was surprised NE didnt call a timeout at the end of the game. Anybody else wondering why he was letting the clock run? He couldnt possibly have known they were going to try that dumb pass. Or could he have? Hmmmm

They decided it was probably stop them now or lose the game. Maybe memories of playing the Giants a couple of years ago popped up in their mind.
