Re: Redskins Offseason Thread

we had a few different ones in this area - Tweeter center was a big one for auto installs. But yea, i remember my father sitting me down in the living room and listening to the whole cd with me, and scolding half of it, but also remarking hmmmm... when em said " yea, dont do drugs" -- the cd was subsequently taken, but then given back eventually, though.

I worked at a Sam Goodys in Fairfax sophomore in college.

Tower Records has a special place in my heart...the listening stations and the crazy selection of hard to find bands/labels and import CDs.

if you sniffed around in there you could find you some nice trim too.

Sam goody was the shit man. It was taken out of our local mall about 5 or 6 years ago i think, maybe even longer, but i still walk by whatever bullshit clothing or sneaker store it is now and let out a very dissapointed *siigghhh* --- also right next to it used to be suncoast video -- that place was also the absolute shit! I think i may have seen one in a mall in upstate NY like 4 years ago still around but not sure if they are prominent anymore. blah.

I rememeber when I use to spend all my money on music, video games, and baseball cards.

Now its rent, insurance(s), car payments, etc.

One is not like the other.

I also miss gum cigarettes. Lol, imagine if those were advertised now. Heads would explode all over the country.

ya dont see them hunting down those manufacturers, no, they'd rather chase a logo and name of a football team.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread

Just because Hankins is the only notable movement that might be expected before the draft. I hadn't seen this injury note, but maybe there is more to the story than him just waiting:

Quote:
Hankins has not practiced all week with an ankle injury. He has landed on the injury report three out of the last four weeks with a different issue, but was able to work his way into the lineup the previous two occasions. In Week 14, he had a chest injury, and did not practice one day (but played that week). Last week, it was the same story, only for a shoulder injury. He’ll finish his season with 44 tackles (four for a loss), two sacks and five quarterback hits. Hankins has two years remaining on his contract with the Colts.
Colts News last season

note: I'm not saying he would not pass a physical, just that interested teams like the Skins are likely leveraging the quality NT's in the draft and his recent injuries to lower the offer far below what he wants/expects.

It's starting to look likely Hankins will wait until after the draft
