Rex's first priority is having a job. Getting a chance to start is a bonus. No way they simply let him walk just because they bring in a guy like Young. The thing that worries me is that Young already had a bench happy coach in Fischer, and if given his pick of the litter would rather have a thick and thin type guy.

I will admit though I'm intrigued at the possibility of adding Young. Guy has had troubles, but it's all been small stuff that doesn't reflect what type of person he is. Also would be a hell of an answer to Vick if he panned out here. He's certainly more talented then Plummer, and has a lot more raw talent at this point then McNabb.

I think the best thing that could happen to them is signing Young off the street allowing them to draft an OLB and NT or DE with their first two picks. I'd also love to acquire an early to mid third and acquire Ponder but that might be pushing our luck in more ways then one.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.

Adding Young would not be via trade, so they'll wait for the Titans to cut him from what I hear

And adding Young or any FA QB does not deter them from drafting a QB, just not sure what round that will be in

VY is the QB Fat Albet. Really they are both talented but lazy and unmotivated

You can't even start to compare Haynesworth to Young. Young has had problems with depression that has affected his performance but at least he always plays hard. Haynesworth is simply an asshole that doesn't care about anyone but himself.

I've never met him personally but everything I've read and seen of Young suggest that he's a good person. And like I said before, if Shanahan can turn Plummer into a pro bowl QB then Young should be a snap.

A lot of people think Quinn can make the move to LB in a 3-4

I like the footage I saw of him on NFLN Redskins on the Clock. I think as long as we go defense, QB with the first two picks, no matter who they are (provided we aren't reaching for them) we will have had a successful draft.

Suddenly I like Kiper a lot more. Personally I prefer Cam Jordan - I think he's just a solid, safe pick - but Watt and Ponder would make me smile.
