Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Clearly Bruce Allen is raising the floor. The players we have and keep adding depth players who are gonna be future starters only 2 stop gaps, if Thomas wins the job or psycho killer gets suspended again.

Not the only one that thinks that Washington State S Deone Buchannon would be a steal in the 3rd Round.
Deone Bucannon is a first-round 2014 draft pick, analyst says - NFL.com |

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
... speaking of safeties- last year so many here were against me saying - do NOT start Rambo after the first 2 preseason games. Everyone was willing to concede that the Redskins with him were going to have bad safety play just as long as he got experience. But no one knows what they are really accepting until it happens. I just couldn't believe that the Redskins actually let him start the first games of the season.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
... And it was nothing really against Rambo, but he wasn't close to being ready to play, let alone start a game.
He can still turn out to be a good player, but starting him off like that has definitely put him back. |

I really like Jason Verrett out of TCU. If he is there in the 2nd round lets take him.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Yeah, Fleming has slow feet in pass blocking and struggles against speed rushers. I think he'd be better suited at OG in the NFL. He's got great size, though, and is a nice run blocker.
