Re: Redskins Mock Draft

So Jack Gruden (Jays son) recently let go from the team following his arrest for being a drunk in public deleted a Tweet that said "DC Needs more Sushi bars" Apparently Will Griers favorite food is Sushi. Of course most on Twitter are speculating now but I wonder what are the real odds of drafting Grier are? In my opinion he's as good as Lock as a passer, arm is not as strong but I'd take him in the 3rd if he's still there.

If we do, David Sills and Gary Jennings should both be available in later rounds.

Pass Rusher in the first
OG in the second
Grier and Sills in the third

I'd be happy with the off season if it plays out like this.

What I'm really excited about is the Redskins are in a great spot, they can literally pick anything in the first 2 rounds.

EDGE
LG
WR
QB
CB

It's not like last yr when we knew it was DT and RB

Re: Redskins Mock Draft

While getting a QB we want at 15 would bring much needed energy to the fan base, I think equally would be getting the top pass rushing threat in the draft. There is a chance that could happened.

The way things are lining up right now,: Pass Rusher, QB, and now I believe Guard is in play at 15. I think quietly we are looking hard at WR Marquise Brown. I think he is def in play at 15.

The way we are handling Guard and let Crowder go have impacted how we act in the draft.

The most deflating pick at 15 would be Nate Jones...this is my fear.

Yes, drafting a credit administrator I worked with would be very Bruce.

Daniel Jones..

2nd round for sure, he's a top 70 prospect in this draft. Can move very well and has that mean streak

Re: Redskins Mock Draft

I'd hate Jones at 15 too. I'd rather just go with BPA there and take Grier later in that case.

I think there are some solid project QB in the draft. K Murray looks to be the choice in the right system...Haskins and Lock are good but both have a lot of risk.

Rosen is my choice with our 2nd round pick this year and maybe a pick swap next year ie our 4th for Cards 5th.

Agreed....I don't like Lock, Haskins, or Jones in the first round....I would rather draft an edge rusher at 15 or a WR.....we can pull the trigger on a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rd.....namely Rypien or Grier...

Metcalf is a concern because of his past injuries....in my opinion...and this is just my opinion- N'Keal Harry is the safer and better pick......as far as Grier I would certainly strongly consider him with the 2nd round pick.
