Re: 2012 QB Class
Robert Griffin is staying in school according to reports to finish his degree. He's had 2 torn ACL's in the past couple of years. I dunno if he's someone we should spend a first round pick on.

Re: 2012 QB Class
I'm so nervous about all of the Junior Qb's staying in college (not including Luck). I can see Barkley, RGIII and Jones (I'm not high on Jones) all deciding to stay in college 1 more year.
After just doing some research and watching some video on RGIII he is a better version of Jake Locker who went in the top 10 last year. The guy has a cannon arm and can make plays with his feet. If the juniors stay in school there are no other qb's worth drafting in the 1st round. Tannehill, Foles, Moore, etc. etc. are all 2nd round picks at the earliest. Out of all those guys I'd say Tannehill is the best fit for the Redskins current offense, even though I'm a fan of Foles size and arm. I'd be happy with Luck, Barkley or RGIII in the 1st round or Tannehill/Foles in the 2nd round. I like Moore from Boise State but everything I'm reading on him is that you can get him in the mid to late rounds. Wouldnt mind taking two qbs if we could get more in the 5th round or so. |

Re: 2012 QB Class
What are you talking about? RG3 already got his degree. Whoever reported is either misinformed or flatout lying. We all know what you feel that we shouldn't draft him in the first round. I don't go down that road with you. What I will say is that when he's drafted in the first round it's going to be because of his great accuracy, great mobility, good arm, and good vision. Based on what I've seen out of all the qbs in this draft he definitely has the biggest upside outside of Luck.

Re: 2012 QB Class
I don't know. He has indicated he's not, but I think it's too early to know for sure.

The rule of thumb for GM's these days is to look for QB's with a certain amount of starts. Occasionally you'll get freaks of nature like Cam Newton that are to tempting to pass up but for the most part having a certain amount of experience will improve your draft stock. Either way a lot of you have to get ready to choose between the likes of Foles and Tannehill. And I swear if one person says wait for next years class I will spontaneously combust right next to you so as to take you with me. The only way Barkley or Jones comes out is if theres some kind of power vacuum at the top with Andrew Luck deciding to stay in school rather waiting three years in Indy.

Re: 2012 QB Class
Unbelievable, but 8 teams have a worse record than our Skins and 3 other teams have 3 wins. 2nd place in the NFC West has 2 wins half way thru the season. It's way to early but we'd only have at best the 9th pick in the draft.
