Good read on how we, as fans, were led off like lambs to the slaughter. We got duped, ya'll.
It's called retirement money, Shanahan found a sucker.

Nice article. Any Redskins fans who still believe in Shanahan need to read this.

From the article:

"Poor Mike Shanahan, dealing with that Dan guy again. Look how bad he treated Norv (who everyone wanted gone) and Marty (who quit after Dan tried to strip him of his GM role) and Spurrier (who also quit but Dan begged to come back) and how he ruined Joe Gibbs' legacy (who left the team on short notice after he also quit and, oh yeah, by the way, Gibbs had his hand in every bad and stupid move that was made during that four years and Dan also begged to stay) and screwed Jim Zorn (who was in over his head). Dan's just a horrible owner and as long as he's the Redskins owner they'll never be successful because he's basically Snidely effing Whiplash with a burgundy colored top hat. And no mustache."

Wow, I had no idea these other coaches were the ones to blame for the rolling circus that has been the Redskins under Dan Snyder. Meanwhile Snyder was unfair demonized into a villainous cartoon character. Thank goodness we saw through the tricks head coaches pull, this time around with Shanahan.

Snyder has not shown an ability to hire and maintain competent HCs since he has been here. My major concern for the next HC is how much say is he going to have in the HC selection. For the record I am not sure if Allen is the man to be conducting the interviews either.

McNabb humiliated himself and proved Shanny right when he further humiliated himself in MN.

I guess the Shanny propaganda has worked on some.

McNabb's dislike for Shanahan makes sense now, but yeah McNabb also proved Shanny right by flaming out in Minny too. They were both right on each other.

McNabb being right is perhaps the worst part about this whole situation (among being lied to and whatnot, obviously). I just really can't stand that guy, even when he was here, I never really felt like he was a Redskin.

Re: Mike Shanahan was Ready to Leave Washington after 2012 Season

This whole thing has jumped the shark, Sally Jenkins has weighed in..

Washington Redskins are being undermined by Dan Snyder’s corrosive star culture - The Washington Post

Most Salliest quote: "But if Snyder has truly matured and wants to do what’s right for the organization, he will de-escalate this management crisis even further, by giving Shanahan a vote of confidence and another year. "
