absolutely, he's a hall of famer. seriously though, he was giving his "keys to the game" when he pointed out polamalu's inconsistancies. he specifically said that polamalu would tend to get beat sometimes on pass plays because he is a very aggressive player. he said he was better against the run than the pass.

Re: Troy Palomalu

the guy can play... a high ankle sprain is going to prevent 100 percent performance, even in the super bowl. don't judge him on that game- look at what he's done all year. he's a missile.

one of my best friends tutored him in college- said he was the nicest guy around. troy actually brought HIM dinner at one of the tutoring sessions.

I'd want him on the skins 100/100 times. Everyone has a bad day though.

Re: Troy Palomalu

Troy constantly gets abused in coverage. One of my roommates was a big Pitt. fan (came from the area) and he'd be beat deep consistantly. He's a Roy Williams type, he'll do great against the run, and he'll knock some people out, but get him in coverage and RUH ROH.

Re: Troy Palomalu

we'll all just have to agree to disagree... and i vehemently disagree that he's overrated- the guy can flat out play the safety position, regardless of scheme. he started out the gates slowly his rookie year, but by the end of last season he was getting it. troy will only get better.
