Re: What to do with #53 overall
Pope won't make it to 53, but TE could be a very interesting way to spend the pick. Check my updated 3 round mock for my best guess at how things will unfold.

TE is not an option with Cooley and Fauria. One blocks and one catches.

yeah, i dunno why people think we need a tight end. Are they saying Cooley isn't good enough?

I don't want M.W. playing inside. I think he has a huge impact on the outside.

Re: What to do with #53 overall
Obviously they dont. Its hard to remember a TE that gets over 700 receiving yards apparently.

Re: What to do with #53 overall
Corner.
Skins will not draft QB, WR, TE, HB, S, KR, PR or DE. I anticipate a corner pick and depth picks at DL, OL and LB's. Possibly a kicker in day 2. Until draft moment all the talk is pure bs. TE? no way we'll draft a TE Mel Kiper JR!

Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Less than 60 minutes to the start of the '06 draft, should be a long afternoon for us Skins fans.
Anyway, discuss the day right here. |

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
#2, barring a trade for 3-4 1st and 2nd round picks, saints will take bush.
titans - young jets - D'Br F GB - hawk/davis 49ers - davis/hawk then it gets foggy... do the raiders take leinhart or michael huff? if young was here it'd be obvious who'd they take. |

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Guys, I'm going way out on a limb here. I'm actually gonna say Mario Williams will be the first selection.

Here We Go, Baby!
If I were the Jets I'd offer the Saints a 3rd round choice for Duece and then take Da Brick.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
This is exciting...hope to see some crazy trades...and it looks like Skins will be seeing Bush at some point this year (he will obviously be getting stuck by our D).
