Re: The State of Redskins Nation
You have to think that Portis will get the best care money can buy, which is better than probably 99% of us talking on this site. Most of us that remember Emmitt Smith playing for the Cowboys in the mid to early nineties, probably remember him playing thru a lot of these type of injuries. Portis has a month to heal, not just 2 weeks. AND he is in better physical shape than 99% of the American population. What would take 6 weeks for one of us may only take 3 for him.

Re: The State of Redskins Nation
I'm good. If you look at the first 3 games, we don't really need Portis. You have a game thats a win vs. Minnesota with or without him. A game that we likely won't win at Dallas Week 2 even with him. (Although theres a much greater chance with him) And a game at Houston in Week 3 that shouldn't be a loss even with Betts playing. That brings us to Week 4 before we need him when games are decided.
I've read a report that says he's got the same injury as Cedric Benson has up here. That's a 3-4 Week injury. I would put him as questionable for Week 1, and week to week after that, fully expecting him to be on the field with no repercussion at Dallas in Week 2. |

Re: The State of Redskins Nation
Hey it wasnt me that said that, I am just trying to stop Skins fans from attacking each other. That is the last thing a fan base should ever do, shit we are not a New York fan base.

Re: The State of Redskins Nation
ask me the state of the redskins right before the 700pm est kickoff on week 1 against the vikings, not during any of these highly wasteful 1 step above the scab level preseason games!
