Hall was bothered all last year wasn't he? He just had surgery this offseason right? I sure hope Springs doesn't have a nagging problem all season. If he's got to miss some games, go ahead & miss em early in the season & come back healthy.

This proves we should have addressed cornerback before linebacker in the draft, where we were already stocked even after losing Arrington.

Well, again, I'm going back to depth we had before the draft. At that time, Clemons was healthy.

To me, our linebacker situation, even after losing Arrington was more than solid with Marcus Washington, Lemar Marshall, and Clemons. Now that Clemons is out, there's still Warrick Holdman - who, according to coaches has new found focus and determination to atone for last year, Khary Campbell who's been a veteran for this team for 4 seasons, and the project, Robert McCune.

With Springs' history of injuries, and with Gregg Williams dependence on capable defensive backs, I thought it would have been a better idea to go after Springs' eventual replacement in the draft. Oh well.

This sucks how did he even get hurt?? We are really thin as far as CBs go and its needless to say springs is one of our best defensive players anyway. Last year we were relatively injury free until the end of the season and this year we already have key players getting hurt...not good

I beleive this is a lingering injury left over from last year that apparently didn't heal properly.

Ade covering Terry Glenn is week two is not something I was anticipating.

Wright would be the #2, and the #3 is probably up in the air now with the addition of Rumph.

Judging by 49er fan reaction to Rumph, in addition to his performance since he's been drafted, I would't expect too much from Rumph.

Kenny Wright better get himself straightened out quick. Otherwise we might as well have kept Walt Harris.
