Know what's so awesome? When you're going to a cookout with smoked ribs slathered in so much sauce that it runs down your wrist, and pulled pork with hot BBQ sauce, and beef brisket, and juicy burgers with all the fixins, and brats with onions, and baked beans and corn on the cob covered in butter, and potato salad. And you eat so much that you need a hose to clean off. Plus ice cold beers of all flavors, where you dunk your hand to the bottom of the ice water in the cooler and fishout the coldest one.

PS The torture shall continue until you give me my soup.

You get no soup until you say hello.

I like mayo on mine, but since mayonaisse is largely the hobgoglin of white folks, I think it would be more appropriate to ask the customer what they want on their sandwich.

Re: A quick poll about Cheesesteaks

Mayo is a necessity on a deli sandwich, but not on a cheesesteak if it's made right.

You only need mayo on a cheesesteak if the meat is all dried out, in which case the mayo masks the nasty dry meat. If it's made right, mayo just gets in the way.

And in which case, it's not a Philly cheesesteak.

There's no such thing as a dried out Philly cheesesteak.

Re: A quick poll about Cheesesteaks

So Malcolm, today I had a big plate of leftover fettucini alfredo for lunch. It was a big ol' plate, all buttery and cheesy. Gosh it was the perfect thing because now I feel really full and satisfied. I don't think I'll be hungry until 8 pm tonight!

What'd you have? How bout you, AMD?

Yeah. Now don't get all excited. It won't be a daily occurrence!

I'm still a grinch. But on occasion I do hear all the Who's down in Whoville singing their happy songs.

That sounds pretty good. I've never had that mix before. I love hot sauce though.
