Re: Burgundy Army: Gameplanning for the NY Giants

This hasn't really gotten much press, but is anyone else as worried as I am about Randy Thomas's hamstring injury. He said that by the end of the Jags came he couldn't pull any more so they were only running up the middle and/or pulling from the left side w/Dockery.

Thomas is one of if not the best pulling guards in the league, and if he can't move out quickly, our rushing attack will be limited (I was going to say hamstrung, but that was too cheesy even for me).

Any word on this injury? He's listed as probably for the game, but he's still on the injury report which means he is still getting treatment for the problem.

He is listed as probably for the game.... I'm sure he'll play. Cornelis is also listed as probable...due to a sore hip.

To be honest...the only people who scare me on the giants are....both DE's Burress and Pierce....the rest of them are a joke....well maybe Tiki as well.....

You havent heard anything about Shockey because they told his big ass to STFU and never to speak again.....

I think if he can play then it is only a strain. Of course a strain can turn into a pull real quick so I think they'll be carefull with him in the play calling.

I had no idea that Thomas was knicked. That does kind of suck. Hopefully that clears up!

i don't think it was major, and thomas has been the most consistant and solid (and fastest) guy on that line, so i'd expect him to be ready to go.
