Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
Reporter: Coach, looked liked Dallas got away with a couple of questionable calls, what did you guys think?
Gibbs: Yeah, we looked at the film real good. We think we saw a couple of things there. We're sending up three of those calls that we thought we should have had. I tell ya, I guys played there guys out today..... |

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
Well the first dallas T.D , Dallas TE Jason Witten was looking for a holding flag and realized there wasn't one and started celebrating thats pretty bad, they knew they commited the penalty but the refs didn't. But F it we got the W

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
I was severely pissed about some of the calls/ non-calls today. In a game that close the refs were definately picking on the hometeam.... and the announcers were all over tony romo's jock... (I tried to start a drinking game drinking only when the said, "romo", but only lasted about 5 minutes, 3 of which we were on offense...
Several dallas holds (big ones that would've gone for sacks, or at least pressures) weren't called. ST gets called for "going low" on a QB, but every time I saw anyone near Brunell they were going for his knees. Re-watch the game... it was all they went for, and refs were standing 2 feet away and allowed it. I know refs have it bad, but this was udderly one of the most lop-sided games as far as calls go, and the cowboys still had like 200 yards in penalties... they should've had 300.

I am scared to think that there should have been more called..... Team looks undisciplined. 150 yards in penalties.

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
PIs really skew that though. I thought the refing was all around bad. Basically a wash. We have definitely been the victims of far worse. Almost every call on #21 this season has been wrong.

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
if you're going to be bad, at least be consistent. i agree they should be fired, but you get bad refs sometimes... too bad they're not full time, so they can devote more time to not screwing games up.

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
That was an awful call and was a text book tackle. He hit Romo in his mid section with his right shoulder and raped the back of his legs with his arms bringing him down. He did not hit him in the knees and only rapped him up by the legs as you should when making a tackle.

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
The refs were very bad Sunday--I was sitting behind one endzone (the one Portis ran to) and there were some OBVIOUS things they missed. But then they called it very tight in other places (Dallas did have 153 of penalty yards, so it's hard to complain all that much!

Re: The REFS were BLIND TODAY
Maybe we found what Lloyd is good for. Not catching the ball but running as fast as he can down field drawing Intf. calls. I did miss his catch that was call back so maybe it will be on the highlight film.
