All I know is Coach/GM's hardly ever work in the NFL... Mike Holmgren about that one. When he went back to just being a head coach and let someone else handle the personnel issues, they became the class of the league...(and injury plagued 2006 season not withstanding). Parcells isn't doing horrible in Dallas but he's far from having a Super Bowl winning team down there either. I love Joe Gibbs, I love what he did for us most of his career, but Michael Wilbon was right, he needs to go back to just plain coaching.

George also interviewed Bugell who said the same stuff as Gibbs that the article was BS. I'm not surprosed as those articles made Gibbs and his staff appear in a bad light.
Gibbs rarely ever answers the questions George asks. Sure he talks a lot but he rarely answers. Gibbs is not a liar he just does not completely answer the questions. |
