Blade. Mach 3 turbo or whatever, but like Malcolm, I get razor burns here and there.

A good trick to avoid razor burns, and still get a close shave is to grab a rag and soak it in hot water then put it on your face for at least a minute. That will soften your skin and open up your pores. Trust me it works.

As for shaving cream, I use the Nivea for men products. They're the $hit.

I use their aftershave balm and typically it's great to keep razorburn away.

In 14 years of shaving, I'll bet I have not gone more than 10 days total without shaving. I'll shave when I'm camping, hungover, or vomiting due to some nasty rotavirus.

I use a panasonic wet/dry in the shower and finish up with a mach 3.

Do they have any scentless aftershaves?

The big problem for me is the smell of that stuff, it drives me crazy.

This is the stuff I use on my face, but my skin is as dry as a nun's poo-nanny:



It says it's hand cream, but it works anywhere. It doesn't seem to be loaded with chemicals, and it works really well. Although it still has a faint smell, it's not overpowering, and it goes away after about 10 minutes.

Try this navigationpng called utter cream. It was use on cows utters after milking and the farmers noticed how well it worked on their hands. Now it is sold in most stores and has no scent at all.

It's not really the aftershave so much as it's the Nivea lotion. It's a very light scent, but if I put it on right after I shave, there's no razorburn more often than not.

Shaving sucks. I boycott it for the most part in the winter and grow a beard. Then I'm only shaving once a week or so, instead of 2-3 times.

And I stopped using the Mach3/Fusion crap a while ago because I couldn't justify spending that kind of money, when I get the same shave from a cheaper disposible.

I use these: BIC - Shaving - Product Page Usually get a 4 pack for around $3.50 at Target.

With the Edge Active Care cream. That stuff is awesome. Started using it a few months ago, and since I don't shave that often, the tube lasts me a while.

I used to shave in the shower, but not so much anymore. However, I always shave as soon as I get out, and be sure to warm up my face with a wet wash cloth before I apply shave cream.

straight electric... i'm lazy i don't have problems with it (its grilled, so no issues with tearing my face apart).

I shave in the shower - the steam opens my pores and it's a great shave without any cream.

Fusion for my face, Mach 3 for my yams.
