I know people chart stats like these (KC Joyner for sure), but I'm not sure these numbers are available on the net.

I agree. I'm surprised I never saw that during the season. Any block from a QB on a MLB is exceptional -- especially when it's a pancake.

Yo, C. Rogers makes those hit. Hell, The Ade has had better hits than that.

p.s. Is it just me or are people blowing Clements up? He ain't no Champ that's for sure.

I have yet to see Rogers make a big hit -- maybe I've missed it, can you tell me what game, what player he jacked up?

As far as Clements goes, he's one of the top available cornerbacks in free agency, and he's far and away better than anyone we have now. There should be little doubt that he'd make our secondary better. No, he's probably not on the level of Champ, but not many are, and we won't have the chance at a player like that anyway.

That might be why you see a lot of people are high on him. After a year like 2006, we salivate for the above-average around here.

Seattle, 2005 (Week 4). CR jacked up Alexander, putting his helmet on the ball forcing a fumble which rolled out of bounds.

Clements is a top notch CB by anyones standards and he's perfect for Grilliams. He's even better in run support than Champ.

Re: Nate Clements hit, check it out

don't get me started on champ. even when he was in Washington, i thought Bailey was one of those media monsters, like mike Vick. now i do think Bailey is a fine corner. but not this deion sanders creature that all the media wants everyone to believe

I agree. This year, it seemed to me that Champ raised his game to the level that his rep was at. He was a monster. In the past, I couldn't help but think that just maybe he was the leagues most overrated defensive player.

He's right in his prime now, and does have HOF type potential.

They have three big hits on that clip for the entire team and season? WOW! We had more hard hits on that one punt return where we leveled 2 or 3 guys coming across the field after El.

Re: Nate Clements hit, check it out

Rogers is always jacking people up. A lot of people agree on this and I believe it's true: he is one of the best "tacklers" in the league at corner.

People are always on his ass because they parrot what they read. He had two "bad" games, really only one if you throw out the Joey Galloway touchdown.
