Someone should man up and eat some crow.
I doubt anyone is man enough, or woman enough, to step up and admit they were totally wrong.

I guess we'll just have to call some people out then. Normally I wouldn't be in favor of doing this, but there were a few people that were convinced that Taylor was disgruntled and this was all about his contract and those of us that weren't freaking out were blind to what was so obvious.

I said he was unhappy with his current contract. Never talked trade. That would be the worst move ever. Post just ran an article on Springs as well. He will be reporting very shortly.

Funny how Gibbs going to the Post brought Taylor back pretty quickly. Maybe he does have the respect or maybe some of the other veterans called ST. Who knows, just really really happy he's back!

Still think we should lock him up long term.....

I stayed away from the issue completely, because there's no point in arguing a topic that is 100% speculation.

And anyone that thinks showing up a week late to OTA's, that aren't even manditory, is a reason to trade one of the best safeties in the league needs their head examined.

Re: Taylor Reports to OTAs

I am tired and pissed with these OTA alarmists. If the world will implode when a top player misses a "VOLUNTARY" work out in May, then don't make them "VOLUNTARY"! F-ing Morons!
Talk about sending mixed signals. These work outs are voluntary but if you miss one than your reputation is trashed publicly in the press. Why?

NOTE to NFL Management, coaches and morons in the press:
GET YOUR S*#IT TOGETHER!
Look up the word "VOLUNTARY" in the dictionary and use it in a sentence.
Learn it...live it or else change the voluntary part of OTA's. You can not have it both ways.
One more thing, I do not like the practice of the Redskins and Gibbs airing private player situations in the press. It is between the team and the player and does not involve anyone else. The Patriots do a much better job handling their personnel issues behind closed doors. It is a respect thing and I do not like it when a player or team uses the press to get what they want.
It lacks class and is childish.
Gibbs needs to stop vocalizing everything that runs through his mind to the press. It is not a good practice in any business.

Could not have said it better myself. OTA's are not mandatory! Every NFL team has guys that don't show up to OTA's. Come Sept. who the hell is going to care? But it's May and it's the only thing to talk about.
