Really? I'm not at all sold on QB Alex Smith, he looks like a mid-round pick, not the #1 overall. A lot of people are talking about them, but I don't see it.

Based on last week he still has a long way to go.

I said this in another thread earlier in the week, I think the loss of Norv could cause him to take a step back this year.

Surprise team? The Giants. I knew they'd suck, I didn't think they'd swallow.

Nice Coggs. But I will say that the Bears SUCK to me. If not for Hester and a cheap illegal procedure call, they would be 0-2.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

I'm not sure that would be a surprise.

If they win their division by more than two games, then I'd be a bit shocked. I see them as a good team, great defense, but still a few offensive parts away from being big time.

Huh? They were playing the Chiefs.

They had double their score. It wasn't even close.

They may not be as good as last year, but they are still going to win ten plus games.

I agree the Bears aren't near as good as they were last year mainly because they let Thomas Jones go. Honestly if they weren't in the NFC they wouldn't be in the playoffs, but you could really say the same about most NFC teams.

The Panthers have been missing something ever since they got rid of Stephen Davis
