Re: Carlos with an INT?!

It was nice to see Rogers get take that one to the house..reminded me of the skins teams of the 80's that would get a big lead, then somebody would take a turnover all the way back near the end..and Andre carter fininshing the game with ANOTHER sack.....BEAUTIFUL!

It was hessy.

I need to see a clip of the pick. We were walking out when it happened because our ride was leaving and we were in danger of being left at the stadium. This is exactly the reason that I hate not driving myself to the games.

I'll give Carlos his props, he played a good game today and he put the icing on the cake at the end. I was just suprised he actually caught the ball lol, the touchdown was just extra credit. I really hope that improves his confidence a lot, and he starts taking chances on balls like that.

Re: Carlos with an INT?!

its funny you should say that. i really don't think that confidence is ever an issue with Rogers. i don't have anything to base that on. just by the way he carries him self

Well, as much as it sucked to miss the last 3 minutes of the game, I had driven to the UMD game the day before and I still had to drive back to Baltimore from College Park. So I was happy to not have to drive through FedEx traffic after the game.

Did you guys see Moss and Portis laughing when Rogers took it in for a score?
Yes, I did. You could read Santana's lips "he caught it?"

Re: Carlos with an INT?!

That was a great play and he deserves credit for playing well this game. I won't say anything negative about him at this time because he truly played "his guts out" today. Congrats Carlos, let's hope u can keep it up.

Re: Carlos with an INT?!

I really think that was a mental hurdle for him to get over. Think that pick and return will really be a confidence booster which is exactly what he needed. We get another gun-slinger, pass first offense in GB next week, lets see what he can do...httr...

Re: Carlos with an INT?!

Hopefully JLaC of TheWasPost is eating a little crow today as well after Roger's INT. Among his usual Redskin Insider pessimistic crap, he asked: "...Is Carlos ready for prime time?" I guess time will tell, but he looked good yesterday Mr. LaC!

Re: Carlos with an INT?!

Carlos almost had such a play in the playoff game in seattle in 05, but dropped it. Would his career be different now if he'd made that play?

Like yall said, this could be a turning point for him. He's been playing well this year. Even w/the Plaxico td, he was in good position just didn't make the play on the ball.

Earlier in the game he made a great break on a ball that hit his head & Evans almost picked it. If CR can improve his timing a little on the ball, he'll have some more big plays. By & large he's been in good position & that's most of the job.
