Re: LaRon Landry's hit

As long as WR start fearing him we can lvie with the dumb penalties for now. They do need to fade away but for now lets be happy the guy is banging hats back there. He'll learn.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

ST did much worse, and that improved with age. While I don't like Landry's taunting penalty, I think it's hard to tell a young player to be a monster back there, and then completely turn it off when the whistle stops. Part of that comes with maturity.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

ive read scouting reports about laron saying he was a natural free safety to begin with, and it shows. he has great range

He's got range and really impressive speed. When he gets on his horse he really moves!

All I have to say about LaRon Landry is that we have found our new FS.

Great hit and sometimes its hard to fault a player for getting pumped up. With that said he does need to learn to lay the wood then walk away.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

LL took a stupid penalty.

That said, he also left a message for every wide receiver in the league that the spirit of ST lives... Come deep on us and you will be trashed. Get ready to see alligator arms again, I can't wait...

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

Quality hit, as the replays showed him close in big time to make the play. He made a rookie mistake with the taunt, but he was in the heat of the moment. Unfortunately, it was 2 weeks in a row for him, and hence why where is more attention to it.

He's doing an awesome job in centerfield roaming around for #21. He's going to be a Pro Bowler in a short time.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

Landry had another one in the second half in the end-zone. Same thing, coming across the field in support and just creaming Burress, although it was the one that Smoot broke up. He still crushed Burress, and I don't know that he would have been able to hang onto it even if he had caught it.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit

stupid, stupid mistake,If I was Gibbs he would be fined for stupidity,2 weeks in a row and it let the other team score in both cases, were just very lucky it didnt cost us either game, but what if it had? Plus when they were showing landry on the sideline after the play and another player looked like he was getting on to him about the penalty,it looked to me like he had a smirk or was smiling like whatever dude, that pissed me off

Thanfully it didn't. Whaddya know, a rookie made a rookie mistake. The kids been lights out so far and I think he's learned his lesson.

I do. GW told Landry he was going to put him in an empty room to think about that stupid penalty. Landry smirked, because, well, he can still kill you with the room itself.
