Yes the Seahawks have a good pass rush, but I think on a neutral field the results wouldn't have been the same.

Their 12th man is no joke.
I wanted to post a thread about this but didnt, its got to be the loudest stadium in the nfl.I missed the first qtr sat driving home from work and listening to the radio broadcast gave me a headache because it was so damn loud.I had to turn it up almost full volume so i could hear the announcers over the crowd

Seattle has the Bionic 12th Man - electrically enhanced.

It would appear all my efforts to educate on thread titles were for naught.

I definitely heard the pumped in noice at FedEx so we don't have room to complain. The one thing I will say though is that if it's true it's a shot to the so called "12th man" nonsense.

What I find funny about the whole 12th man thing (not you 12thMan, you're a straight shooter with upper management written all over you) is that they seem so loud because they have a well designed stadium, not because they're that much louder and more rowdy than every other place.
Even if all the sound is 100% crowd-made and they have every speaker in the place turned off they're aided by acoustics, and maybe a little more caffeine than most other places, but that's about it.

Matty , I understand that but if you watch the film you'll see that does'nt help when the LBer is calling out changes in coverage and stunts since he is "behind the D line and in front of the D backs.

So what are you getting at here exactly? That a defense is equally hindered by a loud crowd as the offense??

Sometimes, yes.

I think FedEx isn't that loud because most Redskins fans are standing around in bewilderment thinking up words like "que" and "Sunny Jurguson" and "ridicules."

Folks, the bottom line is that the Skins need to win their division so they wouldn't have to be the away team.

He said you have to win your division to be the home team. Tampa won their division and were the home team. So, I don't understand what you're saying other than trying to remind us that the Giants won their playoff game. Regardless, being at home was not Tampa's problem.

Re: Sunny Jerguson Seahawks Piping In Sound

In my opinion all of this homefield advantage shit needs to be addressed by the competition committee. The Skins are not the first team to bitch about the excessive noise in Seattle. Crown noise is ok, but that shit is extreme. Both teams in NY need to stop opening the door located near the end zone when the away team gets the ball. I am sure that there are more examples. The bottom line id that their is a fie line between a homefield advantage and an unfair advantage. The Skins had put up with crowd noise all season long, even in Dallas. But never once did they struggle on offense for an entire game like they did in Seattle

The NFL looked into this matter back in 05 and found no evidence that the Seattle Seahawks are pimping in noise.

Yes I am a Seahawks fan but I am not coming to this site bash the redskins or the fans.
