It's certainly possible that JC could do better in a less complex offense. Perhaps JC is having a hard time committing to memory Saunders' infamous 700 page playbook. However, without getting inside JC's brain, one would have to think that, at least in the short term, his development may be stunted by changing coordinators.

I also agree with Beems' sentiment that it would probably be good to give Saunders' offense another year to show what it can do. After seeing how well it performed when TC started playing, I think it would be wrong to not give it another chance. It's not like Saunders is running an unproven system.

I am pretty wary of keeping Saunders at this point based on the complete conjecture that he'd represent a control threat to Williams. I feel like a HC needs to be the main guy calling the shots and if Williams is forced to keep Saunders that immediately puts a chink into the control armo. I am of course assuming a lot but I just get that feeling. Of course if Williams wants to keep Saunders and is simply trying to convince them to do so then I'd want to keep him. Long term I just want Williams to get the job without any encumbrances to his authority and if Saunders is one then he needs to go.

Williams is a D guy so whoever is here to run the O will probably have total control over what is run and done. So having Saunders here should not cause any problems.

I hope saunders stays, todd collins was playing his style offense and was doing good
