Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Very Skins-like... big names brought in, shuffling off draft picks - they don't have a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rounder this year.

I agree but you know how the Skin's luck is, it will actually work for the Brown's...

So true. The Browns and the 49ers seem to be very impressed with our past FA strategies.

If we stick to our guns this off season when do we see the benefit of having more free agent money than anyone else. A few years back teams like the Titans and Bucs had to release a lot of their better players and now they have so much money under the cap. Does anyone know when this will take effect.

And the Browns got Stallworth (is it just me or are the Browns really active every year in the offseason?)

Which means we're down to Javon Walker and Bryant Johnson in terms of free agents. While Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, and Larry Fitzgerald are all rather remote possibilities.
I like the moves Clev is making. Bringing in Stallworth is a damn good move. I'd put Clev's skills guys up against anyone's in the NFL. Not to mention they one of the best o-lines in football. If they can get Williams and Rogers to play up to their potential I'd say Clev. is a serious contender in the AFC.

If we're taking somebody it should be Javon Walker.

all that cleveland are missing now is a true stud at the RB position. Let's face facts Jamal Lewis is no spring chicken anymore...

Not a spring chicken, but still good for over 1300 yds last yr behind a good o-line.

I take a lot of that back, I thought that he was over 30 or much closer to 30. He is only 28. Anyhow, I guess my main point is that last year the browns gave up there 1st pick this year to get Quinn, when they should have gave up there 1st pick this year for Peterson...

Jamal has a few more good years left in him and I thought he should've got comeback player of the year. Plus he's one of my keepers in FF!

Re: Vikings Sign WR Berrian; Browns Sign WR Stallworth

I think given the turn of events that went down in the coaching hire (the Zorn surprise), I wonder if the same thing happens with free agency...you know like the Skins getting Randy Moss or something like that.

I must say though...many people thought Randy Moss staying with the Patriots was a done deal...and now he's shopping around and it looks like less and less likely that he will stay in New England...it would be ridiculous not to think that the Redskins might be looking his way. I mean a few weeks ago DS and Vinny were considering Chad Johnson...now that Randy Moss is a true free agent, why wouldn't they consider him?
