I am still not 100% sold on Campbell, but if he keeps playing like this he will go down as a hall of famer. He has been unbelievable.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
He looked like an NFL QB last year, people just weren't willing to be patient and let him learn on the fly.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
Dude, be real... he did NOT look like an NFL QB last year or the year before. The man has made a HUGE leap forward. I don't know if it was tough love by Zorn, or knowing it was now do or die, but he turned a corner, and much faster than anyone expected. It truly is amazing... and I'm going to give props to Zorn. However, this speaks to JC's character and how has can overcome criticism. I'm VERY impressed.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
I know one man that didn't expect it.. COLLINS. I am sure he thought he would see the Jason of old when he signed on this past year. He's not the only one that is shocked.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
If he can play at even 80% of this level for the rest of the season, I'll be thrilled with JC this year.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
All he has to do is keep playing well. I have been saying for a while that the Redkins dont need new recievers they need there Quarterback to play well. Just keep doing the same same thing for the rest of the year.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
We definitely need Thomas and Kelly to step up later in the year. They are big physical targets, key to putting up TDs rather than FGs in the Red Zone.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
comparing campbell to guys like orton (who's playing now) makes me happy we've got a real QB. imagine when we can go 4 deep at WR and 2 deep at TE... cheers.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
Campbell was in the middle of the pack last season, and has shown flashes of brilliance, several times in the last three seasons. Like Paintrain said, the problem is this fanbase seems to think that if a quarterback doesn't look like Peyton Manning right out of the gate(or a corner doesn't look like Champ, or a tailback doesn't look like LT, etc.), they never will be any good.

Re: JC is not what I thought part two
I don't know how Campbell turned things around from Week 1 to now but all I can say is my hats off to the organization and Campbell himself.
I doubted him extreme, but he shoved it in my face and made me look like a buffoon's ass. Great job Jason Campbell you've come a long way and headed a huge win in Dallas. My hats is off and my pants down. GREAT GAME CAMPBELL...HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!
