One thing you might want to realize is that it's hard to just blow teams out in the NFL. Yes it happens here and there, NY beat the crap out of Seattle. But NY had to go to overtime to beat Cinn. This isn't college ball. Everyone that has made it to the NFL has made it for a reason. These people are professionals and every team has good players. Even STL. has very good players. Tory Holt and Steven Jackson are very very good NFL players.

You don't go on the road and beat Dallas and Philly and not be a good team. To get down 14-0 on the road w/ out 3 starters out on defense and still win is very very impressive.

Re: Random Thoughts From The Eagles Game

When Zorn gave the ball to Portis at mid field to put the game away he made a big statement. He trusted the line and CP to pick up the first and when the play stalled a bit short of the first down I saw our line and CP's will to put the game away. I'm not going to bash Gibbs but I cannot think of one time he put the game in the players hands and said go make a play and instead punted away. Plays like this make player believe in their coach because their coach believes in them.

I'm excited. Completely optimistic. I know we're going to lose games but they will be usually disappointing losses. Most from now on would have to be unexpected.

I'm worried about St Louis though. Big time trap game. Haslett and saunders are looking to make a statement, not to mention their players. 2 weeks to prep and heal. They have some awesome offensive talent as well. We're going to have our hands full.

Rams scares me too, but to say they have awesome O-line - I find that hard to believe..

The Rams are already beat. Al S. 800 paly page book has been read in D.C. Come on; Randel El to Cooley, the Rams don't stand a chance. I hope Zman can keep them grounded.

I sure as hell hope the Players don't feel like the Rams game will be easy. It will show me a lot about this team and Jim Zorn if they dominate the Rams as they should. They will need to focus on every team every week just as much as they did on Dallas and Philly if they want to bring out the true potential in this team.

As I'd mentioned before ...We are on track to becoming the beast of the NFC east.Yesterday's game shows the Skins are gelling, not at peaking yet but should be when the payoffs roll around....Currently the forcast and the schedule looks to favor the Skins.

Re: Random Thoughts From The Eagles Game

I note that some of the Eagles' fans boards are filled with whining about how they should have won, Reid has lost it as a coach, McNabb has no touch, etc. Do these guys realize that but for two blown calls by the officials -- one which allowed for the return TD and another that negated a Randle El TD by calling him down -- the score of the game is 30-10? I guess not.

It was an impressive win for the Skins. We have a real coach and a real QB, a lead RB that wants to put the hurt on people, and a defense that wants not just to bend, but force 3 and outs every series (including 5 in a row yesterday!)

Now they just need to keep their heads and go about their business.

Re: Random Thoughts From The Eagles Game

I remember when folks were saying that we would be lucky to be 3-2 and more likely we would be 2-3. Well how do you like us now!!!

I just said yesterday during the game that last year I was calling for Rogers head, but not anymore! He has stepped up, by leaps and bounds, but then again everyone has. It's been an amazing year so far for all of the Skins.

Re: Random Thoughts From The Eagles Game

Brown went down without being touched, Horton had the chance to touch him while he was down but he jumped over him instead. Brown then got up and ran for 40 yards or so.

Re: Random Thoughts From The Eagles Game

The Skins have to beat the Rams! I live in St. Louis and the folks at my job know I'm a big Skins fan. I would never hear the end of it, if the Lambs somehow beat the Skins.

How Many Ways to Cook a Lamb?

Spiced Rubbed Lamb Chops with Wilted Spinach
Moroccan Grilled Lamb with Golden Couscous Salad
Greek Lamb Pizza
Pomegranate Glazed Rack of Lamb
Mint-Pesto Rubbed Leg of Lamb
Tandoori Lamb Chops
Pan Seared Lamb
Roast Leg of Lamb
Pineapple Lamb Burgers with Red Pepper Sauce
Lamb Satay Stir-Fry
Apricot Glazed Lamb Roast
Todd English's Pan Griddled Lamb Chops
Sweet Orange Lamb
Tuscan Lamb Meatballs
Mediterranean Lamb Pilaf
Lamb and Artichoke Brochette with Dandelion, Goat Cheese and Olives
Lamb Stew
Lamb Vindaloo
Lamb with Brown Rice Risotto

...that's about all Forest.
