Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
I say go sign Garcia to a 2 year deal why we build the olines. Then we go after Matt Barkley in 2012

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Like I said in the other QB thread, you might as well ask, "What punching bag do you put behind the Redskins's Maginot line?" Insert any ole asshole and you'll have guys defending him on this board. "Why he's the best thing since sliced bread. Yes Sire, he going to take us to the Superbowl". It's more like, toilet bowl.

Sorry to say you are seriously misguided, he had plays and did not make them(obvious miss with the santana miss for deep ball after pump fake) JC scared and the anouncers were right he is looking for A WAY OUT AND NOT DOWN THE FIELD, AGAIN AND AGAIN, SO STOP WITH THE SUPPORT FOR JC AND LETS MOVE ON AND START A NEW QB. (CHASE DANIELS). |

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
A college quarterback that I heard Gruden likes a lot is Tebow. Tebow is probably the anti-Campbell in his nfl skills and leadership. But Tebow would be a terrible fit for the redskins because he would probably be too reliant on his running ability.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Since I want to rebuild the o-line first, I would bring in Jeff Garcia and battle it with CB5 for a starting QB while we use the 2010 draft to rebuild the o-line exclusively.
If we had 2 1st picks then I would consider drafting a QB (possibly Bradford/McCoy) with one of those picks.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
whoever said sign garcia to a 2 year deal and go after barkley in two years has the best Idea...good QB's are going to be coming out every year like it or not...you can't fall in love with any ONE but we desperately need O LINE help. We need to be spending our first rounder on a stud left tackle...then another CENTER that knows how to snap...and we need a right tackle and a right guard...so basically our next two years we have our first 2 rounds slated for OLINE! Then we can think about a QB...maybe try a project in round 4 of this years draft...you know...sense we gave up our 3rd rounder for a guy who plays about 5 snaps a game in Jeremy Jarmon...who has "tons of upside". I'm tired of drafting guys with upside...why can't we get playmakers at day one.
Look at the Ravens...they have drafted OLINE heavily in the first rounds for what...the past five years...and look at how productive they are know. You have to deal with a few years with a shitty QB to build up an oline that's going to dominate...then any QB can succeed...even jason campbell. Although I don't feel JC is the answer...at least in this offensive scheme. and neither is CB for that matter...but man Barkley is looking like the next brady and manning to me. |

I think JC is ready for a change, as are the Skins.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
i've never been a big fan of lefty QB's, and as much as people hate to hear it...and not to mention how boring it is...we need to draft young OLineman and start a youth movement in DC...too many overpaid veterans that don't have a drive to win is what's ruining this team. Just my honest opinion there.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Well I got crucified last night for saying Sam Bradford by some IDIOTS on this forum.. But I'm sticking with him because he will be a Star from day 1.
