Redskis win 17-16.

Yes this is going to be a close game. In order for the Skins to win, they will need to disguise the Blitz on Defense. Favre is too good of a QB and will hit the Hot Receiver when needed. That's how he picked Dallas' D apart last week. The announcers even said that Parcell's likes to blitz on 3rd and 7 or more. Well Brett picked them apart. The Skins are also known for Blitzing on 3rd and long so they will need to mix it up and disguise it whenever possible or fake it and drop back into coverage.

I see the Defense only allowing 1 TD but the Packers making 3 field goals. I see our offense scoring 2 TD's but one is set up by the Defense and kicking 1 field goal. I think it will be a close game and we will be sitting on the edge of sits throughout the whole game.

GO SKINS!!!

You're too kind. I mean way too kind. Really. Those aren't instincts I'm hearing... it's my heart beating 1000BPM and the defense's footsteps. I appreciate you thinking I'm smart... but throwing the ball away is way easier than hitting a receiver... and I have gotten pretty good at it. That sidestep thing was actually a trip... clumsey me. In addition to a dead left arm... I have two left feet.

he's been playing TOO conservative. he doesn't throw the random rookie INTs that Ramsey still has in his system. like him or not, Brunell is a vet, and he's got instincts. the best times i seen him play is when he's on the move and listening to those instincts. like when he sidestepped that cowboy and drilled a TD to Gardner. when he follows the gameplan too strictly and all of the 'rules' is when he gets too soft and throws it away or overthinks his passes.

we shouldnt be talking about Favre's wife. we should wish her the best. Favre is one of the best QBs who's ever played the game, no matter what the circumstance, so thats why we should be worried.

You just can't win games against good teams without scoring points. Hopefully, this is the week they start scoring, but I will start believing when I start seeing. Don't misunderstand, I am still totally on board with Gibbs and the team and they eventually will turn the offense around. I just don't think this is a game they can show up with half a team playing well and expect to win, and I didn't even see glimpses last week that this passing game is about to erupt...

The key is to stop Green and for our offense to score SOME points.
Make Favre try to win the game and he will force a couple picks.

Prediction:
I think they will come in over-confident after the last couple weeks, and we will take advantage of their mistakes. Our defense will hold them to one TD and get a couple turnovers...and one will be run back for a TD (Taylor?). Green will be held under 80 yards. Portis will break 150 yards, including a long run for a TD. Brunell will actually have a decent, not great, but decent game...around 250 yards passing.

We should hope for another ugly game like the one against the Bears. We have to control the clock and keep the ball out of Favre and Green's hands. If it's a shootout, we're in trouble.

I think we can pull off a 17-10 win

well, first off you guys are under the assumption farve wont get knocked out of the game, AGAIN, against our D. heh.

But bascially its all based on whether or not Gibbs game up with a plan that involves touchdowns this week. We need to put over 30 on the board this week to show we can.

I agree with SKINSnCANES I feel that our D can keep Favre and Co. in check but our offense will still need to have a big day. I also think that our D will keep this from getting into a shoot out. If it does become a shoot out stick a fork in us cause our O will not be able to keep par.

I just looked at the stats, and GB has a 51.6% 3rd down conversion rate(first in league)and a 71.4% 4th down conversion rate. That can kill our defense, so our offense better have more success and less 3 and outs. Hope that 51.6% isn't first in the league after this Sunday.

We need this one and there's nothing that leads me to think we will win this game. That said, I will go against my own prediction and pick the Skins 28-23

our O can keep it from being a shootout. a shootout involves two sides scoring. we can not get plays in and use up the clock.

well i take that back, our offense has been scoring, just not for our team.

Big game this week, a win here turns the season around and gets us on track. I knew wed start out rough but i still want to see us in the playoff hunt

I made a bet with a guy at work here, the bet is that Ahman Green will get 100 yds rushing on sunday, now I know that he could but I bet him $5 that our D will keep him contained. What are your thoughts? Was it a stupid bet?

our average is 87ypg, BAL/CHI each had a 100 yard rusher... if he only gets 15 carries like he's been getting i think we'll hold him under 100 yards, BUT since our O can't score thusfar, i think he'll get a lot more carries OR there will be a bunch of short passes to eat up time so favre can go home...
