me neither. we spent two second rounders on two WRs hoping one of them would pan out. WR is a very hard position to draft. its certainly worth two 2nd rounders, especially when one of them is in 2010, making it valued as a 2010 3rd.

Denver and Pittsburgh will be competing for the Dez Bryant, Golden Tate picks in the draft.

How is a 2010 2nd valued as a 2010 3rd?

well, I'm sure that he just meant that next year's is currently valued a bit less

like you see how some people suggest instead of a 2nd this year, offer a 1st next year, etc

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins

I was wondering if the Skins were even eligible to sign him to an offer sheet? Since we have no 2nd round pick this year could we've offered a contract & then if Denver didn't match it would we be able to give the 2nd round pick (per his tender w/Denver) in 2011?

Henne looked alright playing with garbage WRs. He'll look a hell of a lot better, now. He probably becomes a borderline starting fantasy QB.

BLOWN.....shitty way to start the morning.....I REALLY wanted us to land Marshall. Oh well, we didnt have the ammo I guess. We still need another WR to replace Randel El. Hope we go after T.O.

We had ammo enough to make it happen, but 2 2nd round draft picks is too much to give. We have 3 young recievers ready to prove themselves. Any one of them(probably Thomas) can turn into a stud number 1 with Donovan throwing at them. 1000 yds, 7+ Tds. We will turn those draft picks we didn't use on starters at RB & Offensive line. Or maybe the QB of the future beyond Donovan.

Plus he's a malcontent. We've got enough of those. IMO, Brandon Marshall was worth a 2nd a 4th in next years draft to us. Anything more, and let him go elsewhere.

I was happy this morning to see he went to Miami. Away from our division, and they overpaid. Win Win.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins

Good deal for both teams, and at least it doesn't involve any NFC East rivals. Dolphins may deal Ginn now, and Denver probably picks up a Wr in the 2nd round. Good draft for receivers.
Seriously, Adam Schefter is kicking Glazer, Mort, King and the NFL networks tail. Is anybody else even trying?
