I guess that since I'm not as frequent a poster as most that my opinion really doesn't matter to a hill of beans but I don't care where it is. I read it sometimes, I disagree with alot of the political views that are held here. However, we all can believe what we want. In Off Topic I've talked extensively about my morning dooks so why can't somone spew their political views here ? Politics is funny because we all argue about who is right but we lose sight of the main goal which is to help this country prosper. The ideals that are supposed to be our main concern sometimes aren't. We pick and choose when to use the "values" that the founding fathers of this country put together.
As far as what Reagan said, and what the liberals said. I believe that the rich should be taxed. Yup I said it they should. If I were wealthy I'd probably disagree but someone has to pay the rent for this house. Whether there is a Democrat in office or a Republican in office things will be fcked until we start to care about our fellow man. As long as we as human beings remain as selfish as we have been since the beginning of time then we will be in the same rut. Just my opinion

Yeah we really need to hear from Ronald Reagan performing a political soliloquy to figure out what to do about our floundering economy.
The Republicans economic record speaks for itself. It's abysmal. Fiscal Conservatives. Yeah right. Reaganomics(aka 'Trickle Down" or Supply Side") theory is just what we should be looking at when trying to figure how the Republicans drove us into such a deep ditch of debt. Thanks for bringing that up. I would rather the publicly elected officials try and make things work as opposed to the Corporations. If you want "Big Money" or maybe you prefer "Big Oil" or even possibly "Big Insurance" running even more of the show inside the Beltway then absolutely vote Republican. |

I would bet that this is one of the few sports pages out there that you can talk politics. Next to the Skins politics is the biggest game in town.

Honestly I'd be cool with killing political talk altogether. The forum isn't "better" since it has been reintroduced and it is very tiresome. I know it sometimes can pull you in but for the most part it doesn't bring much value in my opinion.
