Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?

Here in the local paper they had a good article on Hall and how Shanahan came to him asking him to step up and become a leader. He talked about how in the past he played for the money and the fame but now plays for the team and the team wins. I have looked and cannot find a link but sometime their on line stuff is a week behind.

It's still 59s D but atleast Hall wants to win. They should be embarrassed with that debacle yesterday. 27-10 and lose at home. That's on the D

There's a difference between being belligerent and being pissed off. He's pissed off that they lost and just lashing out. I don't blame him. If I am JH I like what I am hearing.

Dear D. Hall,

STFU. I know Ray Lewis and you sir are no Ray Lewis. If you want to be Ray Lewis I'd recommend you make more big plays and play like D. Revis.

Sincerely yours,

saden1

An average cover corner who wants it to be "his" defense? C'mon Hall. You have a nose for being around the ball and you make plays but you're not Deion Sanders, Darrell Green or Rod Woodson. But he does make a good point. Why was Buchanon and Doherty cover Johnson when the game is on the line? Terrible coaching.

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?

It's one thing to be a leader, and a different thing to be disruptive. I think this statement from Hall borders on or goes over the line of disruptive behavior:

Quote:
Asked whether Haslett would be receptive to his demand, Hall stood firm.

“It don’t matter what he say,” Hall said. “This [is] my team. This [is] my defense. I’m gonna follow the receivers around. If we’ve got to do that to win games, that’s what I’m gonna do.”

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?

I agree with hall that our Nickel corner shouldn't be playing on the best receiver in the league on a crucial fourth down play.

Maybe Cutler is a clown, but DHall is a shit talking assclown who should keep his mouth shut. I'm sick of this ****ing guy and his antics.

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?

He's pissed, blowing off steam, etc. No big deal.

I like how when guys get fired up, we tell them to shut up. When they don't say anything, we blast them for not having enough fire.
