Ace, I would say the same about your threads. Tone it down some, you don't have to rush to start a thread every time.

We should take things one game at a time in my opinion. We haven't shown yet that we can consistently be counted on to win the games we're "supposed" to win
I agree with all points.

Slow down fella, one game at a time, breathe in, relax, breathe out, repeat.

Whaaaaa? You don't trust him? He knows football, Smootsmack. And this is a 14-2 team!!!! Oh wait....

This, and several others recently, are total thread fail. It needs to stop.

Re: We have an excellent opportunity to have a 2 game lead, at the end of week 10!!

I don't worry about the other teams...because....if we don't get 10 wins...and we won't...we don't deserve the playoffs anyways...this team does not have the talent yet to pull of 10 wins.

The only other team I pay attention to is Dallas...I HATE them.
I really don't give a crap what is better for our "chances"...I want Dallas to go 1-15

Two things I hope for every year.
1. The Redskins win the Superbowl
2. The Cowboys DONT win the Superbowl

Statistically, I have better luck with the latter (31 out of 32 chance vs 1 out of 32)

So, come on guys...let the HATE OUT!!!
COWBOYS SUCK!

Re: We have an excellent opportunity to have a 2 game lead, at the end of week 10!!

Ace is 100% right!!! AND by the Week 17 we could be resting all of our players! Look: We play Philly 2* by then, Dallas 2 by then, and NYG once before it. We win all of those games, and the Dallas wins their other Division games, and NYG is 1-4 and Philly is 1-5 in the division(splitting with each other), and Dallas, NYG and Philly lose to every one else, and we beat everyone else, so we are 12 and 3 going into week 17, and the rest of the division is struggling to make .500. And so clearly we rest everyone for two weeks, and then demolish the Bears like we do this week, and then clear, at 14-3, we are SB bound (after demolishing the other team in the NFC Conference game.)

Oh and so then we obviously are SB champs, and I take the week off due to my amazing prognosticating ability!!!

Re: We have an excellent opportunity to have a 2 game lead, at the end of week 10!!

I don't know if anyone in the NFC East has the ability or the luck for that matter to sweep a team like you are proposing. I feel like Dallas will get their act together at some point (its a long season) and split with the Eagles and the Giants and probably the Skins for that matter. Can the Redskins beat the Bears and Lions to go 5-2? Absolutely, but they are also just as likely to lose both. Being 2-0 in the division is huge right now, because 4-2 in the division might be all it takes to break any tie breakers in the end if The Skins go 9-7 or 10-6.

Losing to the Colts, Texans and the Rams doesn't hurt to bad at this point other than it makes the Skins 3-3. Their wins are against the right teams, all in division and or in conference.

Lol, clicked on the last page of this thread without seeing who posted it and upon re-reading the title I told myself that this has to be Ace thread. Sure enough I was right

Anyway in regards to the actual topic, personally I don't know what to expect. I mean we all expected to beat the crap out of the Rams while the Colts probably expected to beat the crap out of us after laying the smackdown on the Giants. For the most part you never know whats going to happen. All we know is we have a team that can compete. However we don't know if thats going to result in above or below .500. Only thing we can do now really is wait and see.

I had a hunch we were going to score on the Colts because they have a soft D and I expected them to run it all over them. I was only half right because our OL is still shitting things up, but not as bad as last year.

However, although the score was close, anyone watching the game knows that Manning sure ass-kicked our defense.

For clarity sake, I want the Giants to beat Dallas Monday, I don't want Dallas to have any shot or life left. That said, this is exactly the type of game that the Giants will lose, and Dallas will lay 40 points down on them. Then Dallas will be SB favorites once again :vomit:
