Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
I was concerned about the fumbling issue he had in the preseason, but he's cleaned that up.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
Well, to be fair he did put one on the ground last week. Along with every other player on both teams.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
He's obviously going to fumble once in a while, just saying it's not the problem it was during the preseason where just fielding a kick was an adventure.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
Didn't he also have a return called back today as well...
I thought I heard that..

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
I'd like to see young Shanny try to get Banks 3-5 touches a game on offense. The little man is a revelation.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
Couldn't hurt. If anything, those quick screens don't put too much pressure on the O-line to hold blocks.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
Should have had 2 TD's today if not for those penalties. On another theme, if Austin is promoted I feel our WR corp could get better.

This kid is a total x-factor. Hopefully we can exploit his talent to the fullest, i.e. The mismatch/situational plays where we can Put Banks in space to capitalize on his speed. I envision a Trendon Holiday from L.S.U. type of use. A true special teamer, with his speed/shiftiness, and have a set of plays in the gameplan to be used as a weapon on offense. (reverses, stretch plays/go routes, or screens to the outside to use his speed.) With his frame size, I don't believe he is a starter in this league at wr, but his value is great if we can keep him from getting killed across the middle like Desean Jackson, he can make some plays that only he can make. In other words: you can't teach speed, speed kills, and this guy is a lethal weapon. Use him correctly and he can be a great asset for us.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
Brandon Banks is hungry after not getting drafted out of Kansas State, where he was 1 of the top KR in the NCAA. How do these so called pro scouts let this guy go undrafted. Banks is our biggest playmaker and I wish we give him a chance on offense a few times a game. Galloway is done he is taking up a spot that and we get no production from our #3 WR during the game.

Re: Brandon Banks is the f-ing man.
@Skins89moss: It's easy to overlook him at Kansas State when he's 5'7 and 150 pounds, even today I bet most guys won't think he'll be able to take the pounding from an NFL game very long. So far he's defied the odds and he is a huge weapon on special teams. I'm glad he didn't get taken from us when we put him on the practice squad, because that kid is electrifying.

No question, Banks is definitely an electrify player.. But i'm still wary of his fumbling problems.. I want to give him a few games to prove himself before we give him the starter spot permanently..
