Not at all, we should have kept Thomas and got rid of Williams.

WR really isn't the problem right now.

WR is not THE problem now - - but it is still A problem.

Questions for all the Devin Thomas acolytes: Where is he lighting up NFL defenses now that the Skins cut him loose? How much is he seeing the field on Sundays? Get back to me when he has a game with 4 catches...

The WR corps is NOT the area of the team that needs help the most. but it better be upgraded for 2011 - - if there is a season in 2011 - - or the team will not do nearly as well as fans hope.

Re: Anyone Mad We let Randle El go?

You're asking this after Brandon Banks did more as a returner in one game than ARE did in 3 years? Really?

Is it possible to merge all these dumb threads into one, and send the whole thing to thread hell. Its hard reading these mind numbing, redundant, and very often not well thought out posts. Put the beer down

I think you should change the title to anyone mad we let go of Brandon Lloyd
The guy is having an amazing season this year, anyone see that sick TD catch he made today against SF? Too bad he didn't do that here, he had to go!!

You think Lloyd would have had his work ethic epiphany here? Hell, he probably would have been cut along with the rest of the old fellas in the offseason.

I was kidding, but he is having a pro-bowl season and looks awesome this year.

Re: Anyone Mad We let Randle El go?

Sigh. This thread is embarressing. Did anybody miss Antwaan Randle El when he failed to get into the end zone by like a couple of inches against the Saints, or while Brandon Banks single handedly gained more kickoff and punt return yardage in one game than Randle El did in 4 years here?

[Hand raised] Randle-El improvised well and was clearly better than Galloway and Roydell.

Maybe he'd be better than Galloway and Roydell, but we paid him #1 wideout money to be a #2 wideout, and he failed at even producing like a #3 wideout. If we signed him to a vet. min deal and asked him to be the 4th wideout maybe he'd be worth it, but that's not what we wanted him for. I'm still not sure I'd rather have him than Galloway, even Galloway had that huge catch a couple weeks ago that kept us in the game.

Re: Anyone Mad We let Randle El go?

Did you even look at his stats before starting this thread or did you happen to see him have his best night last night with 3 catches for 33 yards. That give him a total of 11 for the year with about 125 yards. He would have lost those 125 yards running around on punt returns.
