I love watching the patriots getting beat. And yes the Lions could be a 10 win team if Stafford stays healthy and their secondary becomes good. Like Peter King said when he was at lions camp he saw "Matthew Stafford throwing bombs all over the practice field last week -- and completing them -- you'd be on the way to Vegas, putting $100 down on the Lions for the Super Bowl. But if you stayed a little longer and watched the secondary, you'd have put your money back in your wallet."

I agree with you, they have built their team in the right way. When you do and are patient you reap the rewards. Wouldn't get too worked up about this game. The Patriots will be fine and I fully expect Detroit to do well this year. They are also doing some good things and are building in the right direction.
